Hey Tyler and Isaac 👋! Fun fact: Boss is actually Lucas’s NCT debut, Lucas and WinWin (who was also in this) being in WayV. Lucas is the lower pitched rapper you liked at 2:40. The debut song for the whole of NCT is NCT U 7th Sense. NCT 2018 Black on Black is another I’m pretty sure you’ve not done yet - it’s everyone who was part of NCT at the time, which was 18 members. For something completely different, check out the hoverboard version of NCT Dream Chewing Gum - this one was NCT Dream’s debut. If you want some behind the scenes action, the 24 minute long video of RESONANCE Music Video Behind The Scenes is excellent viewing. If you wanna check out WinWin, I highly recommend him and Ten doing a dance cover of Billie Eilish’s Lovely, that dance was completely choreographed by the two of them and is simply stunning, it’s part of WayV’s Rainbow V series. But the dance less than two minutes long, so maybe watch the behind the scenes of that one as well. PS - Ten is also in 7th Sense!

you guys are smart it was filmed in Ukraine!!!! and this was lucas and jungwoo’s first appearance in nct. 2018 was the “resonance” of 2020 - they all did nct u songs and came together for one track. then ofc, split again and came back together for 2020! Ten and Taeyong did a song with just them two called Baby Don’t Stop which they perform at SuperM concerts lol

NCT's whole group concept is based on dreams and dreaming. So most of what they do has something to do with some aspect of dreaming or being in a dream state. So in NCT-U's "Boss" MV, what I think you see being depicted in the ceiling of the dome is something to do with the fact that it is all a dream, as well as pretty much everything that is happening in the MV. It all has to do with a dream. As you saw, "Boss" has 7 members -- Taeyong, Doyoung, Jaehyun, Winwin, Jungwoo, Lucas and Mark. But NCT-U is NCT's united (or, as I like to think of it, universal) group. This sub-unit is designed to be fluid, which means the group is constantly changing and rearranging its members depending on the style and concept of the song. So, don't expect to have 7 members every time in NCT-U songs.There is no telling how many members or even who will be included in any of NCT-U's songs. (In "The 7th Sense," for example, there were only 5 members, however, only 4 of the members who were in "The 7th Sense" are in "Boss.") They actually went all the way to the Ukraine to shoot the MV for "Boss." Fun fact: "Boss" came out in 2018 and this was Lucas' official debut as a member of NCT. This is how he was introduced, and, at the time, everyone wanted to know who the cute blond guy was. But for us fans who have been following NCT since day one, we already knew Lucas. Lucas was actually first featured as an extra in Ten's "Dream in a Dream" solo MV in 2017 and we had seen him as part of NCT's SMRookies activities as well.
