Both of you guys are just giving your honest opinion about your experience at Spiral buffet. Tbh, it's not practical spending almost $100 for food in just less than an hour especially for Filipino who doesn't earn much for a living, but comparing a dollar rate to peso money I thinks it's worth it tho, in US even if you eat in a food chain then it's gonna be more than 50 bucks which only for one menu or more unlike at spiral buffet you can even try to eat all different type of Asian food with different selection as many as you want.

Years ago, we had an international stay-in event in Sofitel for almost 2 weeks inclusive of buffet breakfast & dinner at the Spiral.After day 1, you will feel you've had enough of the food and will cease to appreciate it. It's really meant to be enjoyed only once. Indeed, you pay for the experience and not for the food because in the end, you can't really eat that much.

Best way to go to Sofitel via public commute. Take LRT 1, get off The Vito Cruz station. walk along Vito Cruz St. toward the Rizal Memorial Stadium and then take one of the RED JEEPNEYS going to the Cultural Center, the PICC and the Sofitel Hotel.

Construction workers were said to be buried under concrete there as they were rushing to get it finished.

Long walk! You could hv gotten the bus straight to Roxas Blvd then just cabbed to Sofitel! Try looking up the Point To Point bus system. Most likely it Will get you to your destination conveniently and safely too. Try the HEAT buffet at Edsa Shangrila Hotel - it pretty decent too and 2nd best to Spiral at half the price. IMHO, the best halohalo is at Little Quiapo in QC near the Heart Center. You may want to try. Curious - overall, how does Phils compare to all the countries you've been to?
