@@dylanpilcheruniverse6515 i've found that watching/listening works a lot better for me! a lot of people with ADHD and dyslexia actually use PDF readers and such throughout school. i usually watch these things on 1.5x speed just to make it go by faster though so i get that LMAO

I watched this because we covered the play a few weeks ago in my AP Literature class. I didn’t think much of it at first, but seeing the play acted out as it was meant to be really helped me understand the original work. Plus, the acting is fantastic, especially Mrs. Hale’s.

Had to watch this for school, i do not understand why they don't follow the detectives, why are the ladies even there if they arent doing anything, what was the meaning of it all?

One of the ladies was asked to pick up stuff by the accused, and the other choose to join her and keep her company. As seen by the horse and carriage and how they talk about the other's "place," this is a time where women are to be house carers and raising children while the men do the work. Something that then backfires, as the women dismiss the clues for motive as they believe the men are the ones who will find it. And even as they find irrefutable proof, they find themselves caught between their worlds: doing what the law says and what would personal justice mean. At least that is part of the play.
