The reason no U.S politician gets charged is because its essentially impossible to prove without a paper trail. Its not illegal to buy stocks of a conpany you are an advisor to or "work with" because you may just actually beilieve in that company/stock. Same reason its not illegal for an employee to buy stocks of a company they work at. Even if you somehow KNOW that your company is going to do very well the next few years. Its still not illegal because of the vagueness of it. The lines get far too gray so you essentially need physical evidence, such as a recording or emails. But they always use word of mouth and direct conversation so there isnt any actual physical evidence to charge them on. They claim they just "beilieve in the company because they have good people and a good motto!" And because youre innocent until proven guilty in America. There isnt enough to go on.

I've stayed in a bunch of air bnbs on 4 continents. Every one was immensely cheaper than a hotel. Staying in an Amsterdam hotel can be hundreds of dollars a night, and I got an apartment right outside of the city for $70 a night.
