My favorite quote from Lewis was an early one. "When I was 20 all I knew about girls my age was that they were not fucking me, that's for sure."

Young Sheldon is pretty good. It's definitely marketesd towards Americans. There's a lot of nuance. Its very different from BBT. I can see ot being an entirely different show, but the writers ran away with that little bit of lore around Sheldon's insane Christian mother and I cant hate them for it.

I am no economist, but I think the 30 day payment delay is actually more advantageous for smaller companies with less regular cashflow. If you organize, for example, a Dota tournament. You have to pay for the venue, casters, camera stuff, whatever. If the company organizing it had to pay for all of this upfront or at the day it happened, they might not always have the funds. I think all in all its way better for a countries economy if a small business can buy stuff they dont yet have 100% of the money for to pay back.

Yeah not paying immediately is such a scam. It's just because it makes accountant work easier. Anything they can avoid paying instantly, they will. Laws should change tbh.

Maybe there was an issue with soldier trying to get captured so they could just wait for the end of the war in captivity. If you are a POW you have some rights and they are not allowed to kill you once they captured you and people were using this as a loophole to prevent getting shot in combat. This is not a fact or anything, I'm just thinking out loud.

7:00 wrong. The issue men have trying to view their faults is that women judge men by completely different metrics. Men judge women largely based on looks. For men, it seems so cut and dry because they live in the quantitative realm. Lewis is much closer with his "tingles" perspective because that IS where women are at: aesthetic quality and general feel. The advice is to just keep trying. It's a terribly used message, but it's true. You have to just keep trying until the stars align and you find someone who likes you enough to dig deeper. Then, they have to like what they find again. Best bet is trying to connect with women that like the same things you like. They exist, and there are websites for it. Drunk bar hookups are against the odds to create lasting relationships, especially in today's society with the high expectations.

Ripping a phonebook in half is quite easy actually if you know a technique for it; easily googlable. Of course it requires some strength but not "worlds strongest steroid pumper" -strength. Of course if he straight ripped it like a piece of paper without any twisty shit, it is very impressive AND being a kaiju-level threat does help make it look effortless if you know the techniques to it.
