Did Trifox included the seatpost clamp cover? It looks very similar to the one from the Tarmac SL6, I got my X16 QR Frame last January but the cover is an ugly piece that looks like an inner tube piece. Maybe I could order one piece from them?

I've been riding my x16 w/ di2 for 2 years now and couldn't ask for anything more from it. The LBS builder said it was one of the easiest builds he'd ever done and the bike is still going strong around 7000 miles later

I have the MFM100 MTB frame. I also had a couple of minor build issues. I found their tech support to be really good, though delayed due to the time zone differences. I am also looking for a replacement for my road bike (2015 Specialized Tarmac). I will seriously consider Trifox as a potential replacement, though I think I may go with disk brakes.

I have the x16. BB worked fine for me but it did seem tricky to get threads started the first time. I lost one of my axle caps. My fault I guess but I'm having a hard time getting a replacement from vendor. If I could do it over again, I think I would have gotten the rim brake/skewer setup as opposed to the disc/thru axle. I think rim brakes are superior.. at least to the discs I wound up with. End product works great overall for me. Your paint job is very cool. I ordered flat black (carbon) and got glossy black but I'm very happy with that.

Are you sure the seat post rails is not only compatible with oval saddle rails?...and anytime you use a carbon frame and seat post you should always use carbon paste. Iv honestly never heard of anyone not using it.

Definitely not for oval rails. The clamp had a burr on one side which is why it didn’t initially fit. Hahah that’s fair, I didn’t have any carbon paste at the time which is an excuse 😬

Built one myself and all was good for about 4 or 5 hundred miles then the BB started creaking on each ride after about 20 miles (like once the bike was 'warmed up') - ended up using PTFE tape on the bearing cups to get rid of the squeak.

Interesting, thanks for the heads up! BB creaks are notorious in many bikes, but I’ll keep an eye out and glad to hear the PTFE tape helped.

Hi. What groupset and wheels are you running? My build using sensah and elite wheel is around 8kg.

@@letmein218 also Sensah empire pro 12 but mixed it with some lighter parts FSA KFORCE WE LIGHT crankset and Juintech F1 Brakes and especially the wheels PROX ULTRALIGHT CABONSPOKE WHEELS C66DB 1100gr Tubular. Also 150gr pedals Wahoo where I change the axle to titanium. The disc are really light to from Cactus. ULT cassette by ZATTO. Wheels are really good and only 800euro.

I’m not too sure, I’ve got 25mm tires though. I’m pretty sure the website shows 25mm as max clearance
