My trigger thumb gives me pain at the back of my palm. I haven't seen any case like mine in KZbin so I'm not sure I have trigger finger. My parents don't want me to meet a doctor but I'm always in pain. I don't know what to do

the main question here is not the release of the blockage BUT will the fiberous tendons or A1 (or any of the As) pulley heal back after being severed ? you do lose durability when any of your pulley are severed though you gain accessibility of your fingers BUT it wont be at durable as before IF it does not heal back.

The cut structure, A1 pulley does NOT heal back afterward. The loss of this particular pulley on the human thumb does not result in any loss of function that can be detected in normal hand use or by clinical measurement. The more biomechanically important pulley (A2) is preserved to ensure normal function after surgery.
