I always love seeing fellow therapists, especially those with a faith perspective, and their reactions to NF. It's a real deep journey if you really dive into the NF experience. I've used his songs extensively in my counseling. I can point to songs like Mansion, Intro III, Change, I Miss the Days, Wait, The Search, Why, Time, and many others. I would highly suggest Just Like You if you want a good follow up from a psychology perspective. His songs are deep and he has an amazing ability to convey emotion. Thanks for the reaction and blessings on your day.

At the very least, I'd love to see your reactions to "Paralyzed" (the most accurate, relatable description of depression ever recorded), "How Could You Leave Us" (you will need lots of tissues), "Nate" (a song he wrote to his 6 year old self as part of an exercise he was given by his therapist), & "Change" (about his aching desire to change his state of mind & "addiction to pain"). He is absolutely amazing!

Welcome to the wonderful world of NF! You're gonna laugh, you're gonna cry, you're gonna be really excited. One bit of advice, you should pause a time or two during the song, even though I know you don't want to. Most NF videos from what I have seen don't get blocked, unless the song plays straight through. Most artists will block the video eventually if played straight through.

NF is in my opinion the GOAT because he has proven you don't have to use foul language or talk about drugs, money, women, etc... He raps about real life, real things he's going through, he's 100% and hasn't changed one bit. He's the voice for us who can't speak out on what goes in our minds, he touches deeper than any other artists because no matter what you've gone through you can relate. Glad people are getting exposed to this song finally. One of my favorites--puts to words what trauma feels like. "you put me in the corner so you could see the fear in my eyes, then took me downstairs and beat me till I screamed and I cried." That line is the one that still stabs me. Another good song up this alley is No One Knows by Sik World.

The beautiful chorus has an interesting function in this song. Not only connects it the NF lyrics, it even serves as kind of a short break between the really strong emotions that come across with every line. Damn his lyrics are so dense in their meaning... I can totally relate to his anger, the song pretty well describes the first half of my life. Think Ima listen to more of his songs ^^ Thank you for this video btw, you rock!

This artist has been my saving grace this year. I discovered a lot of songs by him I very very much relate to. Mansion, Paralyzed, and Trauma are songs that make me emotional, and I'm not an emotional person. As someone who's been dealing with depression and neglectance for 4 years and still only 17, NF has been my go to when I'm not feeling good. Paralyzed and Trauma really hit me in the feels, because I was depressed and neglected by my peers and my own parents. Mansion has a sad back story, but I believe Paralyzed, How could you leave us, and Trauma will make me get really emotional every time. Never was abused, but i know neglectance and depression like the back of my hand. Really good description of this song btw. Earned another sub! ❤️

This one hits really hard for myself and for most people who love his music. I primarily listen to metal and country music...... but you cant deny this mans talent! I dont know how he can write with such power thats so relatable with so many people, but every song he writes is relatable to me.... I feel that a lot of people have a mansion in their minds and hearts... myself included!...... "Because in order to do that? I'd have to open the doors, is that me or the fear talking? I dont know anymore" im still that way and i live alone by myself because im afraid to trust anyone anymore...... Anyway..... I love your genuine reactions darlin. Please dont stop ❤

One of the very best reactions i've had the pleasure to watch...not just of NF. One of the best period. Ty. Very risky on ur part to not stop once during the audio. A lesson for many reactors. They cant get away with it because you follow with VALUABLE commentary and analysis to a high level. Thats what most lack. Dont think I overlooked the emotional connection because it gets to me as well. NF calls his music...NFRealMusic for a reason. Its all straight from inside cause he NEEDS to get it out. It truly is what helps keep him sane. And if ppl can relate and it make them feel a little less alone on this ball we call a planet then more power to him. He does it in a way that takes u with him, through it. Trying to figure himself out. Paints a very poetic and beautiful picture as he does it and sometimes not so pretty. I hope u will find time to include more NF. He is unique in his message. Everyone will tell u go thru everything he has done. Many of his videos are connected and refer to one another. His videos are art in their own right with alot of symbolism. I personally would recomment u jump to THE SEARCH (huge views) next, which will give u an extremely good song and video and some insight to what he is all about as an artist. His plan for his songs, albums and videos are well thought out and none by fluke or chance. After The Search, go back to what many think of his first album (but rather his first with Capitol Records) and react to the track/video INTRO...the first somg of the album that shows the story of his beginning. Then jump straight into the track referred to here in Mansion. How Could You Leave Us, which is his story of losing his Mom. A heartbreaking tear jerker as well but very much worth the experience. Thanks again. Im about to hit the sub button. Im also a fan of Dimash for 5 yrs now, Chris Stapleton, Angelina Jordan, Morrissette, Home Free and as a teen Led Zep and many other rock bands from 70s. Love blues, R&B, some jazz, soul, even classical and Pavarotti. I just love talent and live is the truest test. Later. Mark

My first time on your channel. I was introduced to Nate on a different reaction video. I have been introduced to so many artists that I have never heard and at times when I needed them badly. My first NF song was," How Could You Leave Us". Really hit home for me. I wish more people could be introduced to his music as it could help so many. Thank you for what you do.

Thank you for reacting to this song. I can relate to ongoing childhood trauma. I could see it start to hit home for you, and I was grateful that you stayed engaged in the song. Most people just hang their mouths open at that point, when it hits their heart. But you stayed connected to hear how many layers their were to the details and analogies. Your personality and sincerity make it feel like I am spending time with someone I have actually met, rather than just a person who I have digitally connected with through YT. That may not be clearly explained, so I will try to be efficient about this... I see so many positive traits in you that I feel like you are basically a genius. Subscribed!

thank you for going over the lyrics of the song, they have way more impact when you hear them the second time around .. I have suffered abuse for well all of my childhood and most of my young adulthood being held emotionally hostage is so crippling .. I found an outlet via My Aunt and her Husband using E.M.D.R and transcendental meditation It has taken me the better part of biweekly therapy sessions for almost 3 years now, and I can finally say I am Okay .. I still think about the abuse but through my sessions, I taught myself to compartmentalize the abuse even the very very worst events ..I can now watch with different eyes and not get triggered by the events instead I keep the vigil so history does not repeat itself .. .. I just wish I had the therapy when I was a young man I would not have contemplated taking my own life seriously 2 times .. I am so glad my guardian angel was there to guide my mom (an abused person herself) to find me just before the deed was done .. it has made me aware of the divine .. not necessarily god but perhaps the positive intents of the universe reaching out to help me when I needed it .. thank you again

I’ve only watched two of your videos. This one and Ren -Hi Ren. I feel your empathy. Your pain. Your joy. Your understanding of the troubles these artists have experienced. I love that you don’t hide or stifle that empathy. I can see that you are an amazing therapist. Sadly, I don’t think you could ever be my therapist. Your religious views poke through a bit too often for this atheist. I’ve seen two therapist in my time. Both times it was by the request or demand of someone in my life. Both times the therapist told me the same thing. Almost exactly these words from two therapists on two continents. “You are handling this situation amazing well. I’d like to talk to the people in your life that sent you here.” As I predicted, they did not go. I dropped those people from my life as soon as possible and moved on, as I have done many times sense with toxic people who think they have a place in my world. Life is hard. Harder for some than others. Harder still for those with no one to talk to about their troubles. No one to see the world they live in for what it truly is and not as they see it through the tainted glass of the shadows and lie. No one to offer a solution, a path out of the world they’re trapped in. You are that person for the people who come to you. For the people who watch your videos. You feel their pain and joy and sorrow and happiness and fear and hope right along with them. And you don’t hide it. You show them that it is ok, normal even, to have those emotions to show those emotions. Edit: Thank you for introducing me to NF. I look forward to finding new artists through your eyes. You have a new subscriber. Grab your ketchup and crunch away my friends.

This song saved me. When I was ten my dad passed away. My mom always got drunk and high. Still does fine to time. I dealt with abuse mentally and physically. I felt so numb and so alone. I felt like I lost everything. Everything that I loved everything that I dreamed of was crushed and taken out of my hands. I felt like I had no reason to live anymore. Until I listened to this. He showed me to speak up about my emotions. He showed me that I’m not alone. He was my father figure when I never had one. He’s a life saver. And he’s a miracle. He’s more than just NF. He’s more than Just a rapper.
