Rob, I just want to tell you what a pleasure it is to watch someone who is such an ethical outdoorsman. Someone who respects nature. That's the way my dad, uncles and cousins were all raised to hunt and fish. Not many are like that anymore. Respect the rules, respect God's creatures you hunt, respect others. You are a good Christian man with a beautiful family you obviously adore. I have much respect for you. I just wanted you to know that. God bless you and yours.

I was so fortunate lately. A friend of mine dropped off about 2 lbs of triggerfish fillets and some marlin steaks the other day. Being from Washington State, we don't ever get to see that stuff. I rolled them in flour, then eggs then panko. Seasoned them with Pepper and Lawry's garlic salt. Some of the best fish I have EVER had, wow those fish are amazing. Great video again Robert, I hope to go down ther to the Jupiter area and fish the ocean and Okechobee someday. My sister lives in Mt Dora so that gives me an excuse!

Fishing and living in South Florida my whole life, I've been eating fresh Triggerfish for years, and it's in it's OWN category all by itself. It shouldn't even be classified as 'fish' taste-wise, because it has its own flavor, and tastes nothing like any other fish. The meat is course and tender all at the same time. It's probably my all-time favorite fish to eat. Anyone who ever gets the chance to have it, cease the opportunity, believe me, it's the best.

Hello, love the channel. I am an avid hunter and fisherman in Georgia. These videos always put a smile on my face. The world needs more people like ya'll. I was wondering, did KZbin demonetize this channel? I have been hearing about channels that involve hunting or guns to be completely demonetized for not being "family friendly." I really do not see what is not family friendly about guns and hunting. It seems to me someone is enforcing their opinions on guns and such by discouraging it on KZbin.

Probably like less than 50 miles from the outer banks but I just cought my first triggers and got them home and tried to put a regular descaler on it. Lmao. Didnt realize they had to be scaled like a gator. Your vid helped alot . Thanks bro. After I tore the hide off they were perfect. Keep it up.

in Jamaica we fry the fish whole or broil it whole *gutted/scaled obviously* with salt pepper minimal seasoning and then add escaviche sauce to it which is onions and scotch bonnets boiled in white vinegar sugar and salt/pepper and you pou it on top of the freshly fried fish and its amazing. serve it with bami which is casava cakes soaked in milk then fried in butter. works best with bigger fish like red snappers but even in the states you can do it with crappies/sunnies etc. would love to see you try that dish :P
