This is next level stuff for designer like us. It feels really good when content creator gives such elite level tutorial like this for free. Just one request, if possible share the fbx file of the mesh without texture for free so that we can follow every step of texturing. But overall thank you for this tutorial. Very few content creator gives such detail tutorial on texturing.

Thank you sir for replying my message. I tried to use the link of the projects file you have given in the description. Unfortunately it is paid version. Maybe it has all the final product of this tutorial thats why it's paid. Which is very reasonable. I just needed the fbx file of the mesh so that I can follow your texturing step by step. But its all good. Keep helping us with this type tutorial. Thank you sir. Lots of love for your channel.

@@neonmahmud6833 Why do you need fbx? Even without these files, you can follow the course calmly

really great work flow and result is so nice but I wonder something, the whole tutorial took almost 10 hours, for painting a helmet (even if its detailed) isnt that working hour a bit too much? İ am kinda new to substance painter, İ was just expecting less work hours for good results. 10 hours for a helmet made me a bit discouraged.

Nope think bout it relative to 8 hour work days. So it's just a litrle over 1 day of work. Creating high quality 3d stuff. Sadly takrs a lot of hours. For example for an entire character. You're at least looking at 200 hours if you do it fast...

@@TriGon_Art wow I didnt know that. so its really hard craft to create a full character, takes around 200 work hours. even if I would work fluent and 10 hours daily, it would be taking all month? wowow I m now having a small mental shock now :/ I didnt expect that is so challenging

Don't forget that he's not just "working" he takes the time to explain and show techniques as well as multiple ways to achieve one same result. If you rewatch the whole process he spent a good 4h to make a good portfolio render, which is something you won't have to do for production, only for your reel. He also did lots of trials and errors to get that perfect leather look. Once saved as a smart material all he would need is to reuse that leather and just tweak some parameters (with some handpaint work too, generators aren't artists). But yeah once you have a good library of custom made materials you can roughly cut the work in half.

29 videos, almost every one is 2 hours long. are you really telling me that you spent about 60 hours on a single helmet?... man wtf?
