hi. this video is very helpful, it’s the only way i know how to do exact value questions. but i was wondering how you do questions that go up to like sin270 or cos180?

Will never come up in an exam

Angles In a triangle add up to 180 so I don't think you'll get a question above 90

Would never come up but what you do is use the graphs according to sin cos or tan and look for teh equivalent of the value you foudn for the value 90 and under

Now in a levels you will need to use sin graph and use the symmetry same with others

Hi, just wanted to ask isn't the value for tan(30) root 3 over 3 instead of 1 over root 3, because you have to rationalise
@tapwater58 ай бұрын
you dont have to rationalise all the surds on denominators unless the questions specifies or you have to answer a question

Your cos 45 value is wrong? I have it at 1/ root 2
@dilly20475 жыл бұрын
If you rationalise it (times the fraction by root 2 over root 2) you get his value. His value is correct

Hi there. Very helpful ... thanks a lot! However, if I can ask, is there a mistake here. I just watched your previous video where you used 2 right-angled triangles: one equilateral with sides of 2 (length / unit) and the other with two equal sides of 1 (length / unit). Based on your first video, then sin(45) = 1 / (square root of) 2 and NOT as your video above shows. Also, cos(45) will be the same as sin(45) ... 1 / square root of 2. However, your 'table method' above shows differently! Please advise! Take care.

+Kashif H. Hayat Is it that one video says 1 over root 2 and the other days root 2 over 2? If so they are equivalent - if you type 1 over root 2 into a calculator it will simplify to root 2 over 2
