Trijntje Oosterhouse is one of the best singers. She is a favorite of Burt Bacharach she made 2 albums with his music and with North Sea Festival in Rotterdam she was a special quest when he performed there this year

Trijntje Oosterhuis has one of those names, only Dutch speaking people can pronounce hehehe (just call her Miss Oosterhuis ;) ) She been a part of our lives for many years now, and believe it or not, she started her career as a dance-pop singer for Total Touch, together with her brother Tjeerd Oosterhuis. Tjeerd is a producer these days, and a few of the people he worked with are Madcon, Kelly Rowland and Estelle, so.. not the least acts i'd say (and Total Touch was quite big as well) Trijntje is a great singer with a lovely warm voice, and personality, she's a really nice lady, i met her a few times and she is truly charming and very friendly. It's with good reason she has become one of our most beloved singers, she remained a grounded person who knows reality from fiction, better than most famous people do, and for Dutchies, that is important ;) (we dont like Diva behavior) I could write a "book" about her, as you probably know by now... i suck at short posts hehehe, but i will "take it easy" and leave it at this for now :D Thnx for the upload, i really enjoy our lovely Trijntje, she's great :) (ps. reassurance on the show being pulled, it isnt being pulled, the online version might be pulled tho, only seen the pilot of that and not heard anything since)

Trijntje did some more great songs that season like Something inside so strong, but also Maria Fiselier did a great song that was from "Trijntje speake as wine or mine" the song La mer was used by the opening of the Johan Cruijf Arena in Dutch De Zee. There is also a video from Trijntje were she did a full concert as tribute to Burt Bacharach. I can recomended too. The biggest hit of 2018 here in the Netherlands was als comming from the beste zangers with Davina Michelle "Het duurt te lang"

no,the show is not pulled.(no news in dutch media) there were runner-up on the last big dutch tv-awards,no reason to pull it.only news they will do on may 23 a live-concert all together in rotterdam (ahoy).ps.i have the complete seasons 2017 and 2018,never uploaded on you-tube,and i think they will be blocked,but if there is really interest,i could give it a try.

@@wolfrock2270 I think that news was about the KZbin edition they tried out this year after the normal season had finished. They tried an edition with youtubers and less known singers, which didn't do that well with the views. It was an experiment, and there was some talk about it not getting a new version next year.

And you are curious to all the other artist here in The Netherlands we are proud of. Trijntje is also member of the "Ladies of Soul". They give a big show every year. Another member of the Ladies is Glennis Grace, well known to the world since her performances in AGT. Perhaps you will find them yourself, but if not.. I'd like to hear your reaction on "Sound of Silence" done by Nick and Simon. I searched for that performance after SOS by Henk Poort. The policies on KZbin and Dailymotion are the same, with a few differences in execution. First of all, KZbin is so much viewed, that the chance that a video is reported is larger. Secondly there is a Shazam-like algorithm working during uploading on KZbin, so that videos don't get even uploaded. So in short, it's not that Dailymotion is more lenient.

she's finally become a great singer... saw her live with her band 'total touch' when she opened up for the Michael Jackson 'History' tour back in '97 and it was dreadful ;p and nope they didn't pull the show.. this year's season came to it's natural conclusion and now it's waiting for next years season with a fresh batch of singers.

they dit not polled out this is seizon 10 and the do 8 weeks (the last week is Always the duets week ) a year every year with different singers and after that the show go's find new singers and do a next show again the will not stop it is to popular in the Netherlands for that don't worry the will be back again

Trijntje worked together with Burt Bacharach about 10 years ago I think. You should search for that, because that’s awesome to. Or look for the Ladies of Soul from 2014 until 2018. I don't know if they will stop this show. It would be stupid. In 2020 they organise a big show with many of these artists and it is called The beste zangers life. I tried to buy tickets but within minutes the better tickets were sold. So I decided good tickets or no tickets and it became a no. Pitty. With christmas they will organise a special too on TV. Some months ago they were nominated for a TV award. The show didn't win, but belonged to the 3 best programs of the year.
