We seem to be looking for power in hardness, toughness, even aggression, but real power can be found in what we tend to call soft. Embracing others and yourself with care, with love, with attention is the hardest think to do and the most rewarding. "Something inside .." to be found in the warmest place of your heart.

Trinjte is a brilliant singer and also a great entertainer that I discovered about five years ago from far off Australia this was a great song and I love her collaborations with Burt Bacharach and his timeless songs and if you have never heard one of our maestros of song I suggest you look up John Farnham, he does a song equally as powerful as this one called "Your the Voice" which is how he is known as in Australia, Singers as diverse as the late Freddie Mercury from Queen, Sammy Davis Junior said he had the greatest singing voice and he did a not really cover of Help the Beatles song and John Lennon who wrote said John Farnham's rendition of it was how the Beatles really wanted to do it but the commercial intgerests at the record company overrode them and made it more of a Pop song. John Farnham really brings out the true meaning of the song and it's deep emotional reach link here thanks. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mqeYZZqfhLiFgdU

Every year with Easter we have The Passion here in the Netherlands. Since you are a sucker for musicals there are some performances you should watch. For example Jeroen van Koningsbrugge with Wit Licht (White Light). The Passion tells the story about what happens with Jezus, Judas etc. The man who sings Wit Licht plays Judas and it is amazing. The music, setting. Everything! The song itself is from another dutch artist named Marco Borsato. But what the people of the Passion do is this; they make the play and use songs of other artists to tell the story. Every year they use different artists and songs. If you decide to check it out, enjoy and have fun. Have a good day!

This song is not only powerful to him, but should be a powerful/uplifting/motivational song for all of us. We can all use those words, when we're feeling down. This track written by Labi Siffre in 1987, is so underated, and for the love of God, she was so right. I have to say though,...Trijntje sings this one with so much more emotion, the original can only dream about.

His best known compositions include "It Must Be Love", which reached number 14 on the UK Singles Chart in 1971 (and was later covered by the band Madness),[1] "Crying Laughing Loving Lying", and "(Something Inside) So Strong"-an anti-apartheid song inspired by a television documentary in which white soldiers in South Africa were filmed shooting at black civilians in the street-which hit number 4 on the UK chart.
