(1/2) The usage of the video gopro camera was excellent!! I watched the entire video!!! I am 17 and live in Noblesville, Indiana! There are days, specially during summer (this season) that make me want to do this. I am going to Purdue this fall for aviation, and those ultralight planes have always called my attention. I used to live in Mexico and I remember going on vacations to these little towns up north from the city and I flew in one and I fell in love with Aviation and FLYING!!

Looks like you're having fun. I have a few hrs on a trike but not enough to fly one safely. There is no instructors in northern MN. I am going to pick up another fixed wing UL next month.

I think you can buy a used AirCreation Racer like mine for about $10,000 or maybe cheaper. Make sure the wing and engine is in good condition with no bent tubes on wing or frame

The thing is that I talked to my parents and I would love to do this on the weekends! Even for a small business! So maybe you can give me your information so I can buy a kit from you. If you dont sell kits, just the planes, I would love to go get it! Do you have double seated ultralights? That would make the business work ;) And don't worry about my license, I'll get it by next spring! Meanwhile, I can invest my time on the kit! The price is good and not a problem. I would love to hear from you

so, is the belief that if your engine fails you can just glide back to earth? or will you plummet like a real plane?

stan salesman Both airplanes and trikes and most all flying machines will glide, power-off. A trike has a lot of drag, so it glides back to earth at a much steeper angle than an airplane, but its glide-speed is much slower. Mine glides best at 40mph.

I'm not in the business of buying and selling, but AirBorne of makes a really nice 2-seater with a 4-cycle HKS engine for about $20-30,000. Check BarnStormers for used trikes. Get flying lessons from a real instructor to stay safe and not get killed.

montech100 what a douchebag comment to make. Yeah revos are nice but they're the exact opposite reason that people should be interested in Ultra Lights. Ultra lights are supposed to be about fun and affordability. If you buy a Revo you may as well buy a f****** twin-engine plane.
