Warning: This is not My Best Deadlock Game, but Paradox is Exhilarating to Learn

I've been a massive fan of Paradox ever since playing her early on in my Deadlock time. I don't know what it is about her kit that clicks with me, but I just adore her playstyle. I think there's ultimately quite a few different strong builds for her, whether its the MikaelS style of sniping using your 3, or the style i've been using which is a more supportive playstyle, making yourself tanky and unkillable and providing support for your team along the way with consistent swaps and ganks. I love seeing people learning the characters I love at their own pace, so I thought i'd leave some tips i've gathered from a lot of Paradox games. - The travel time of your swap is long enough that if you throw it out, you can just press your wall button and it'll appear before the swap actually happens. It takes some getting used to, but you get the biggest benefit from Paradox when you swap people through the wall. Especially once you max the wall out, which really needs to be one of either the first or second skills you max. The other should be swap. - Unless you are going for the MikaelS style high weapon damage sniper build, only put two points in your 3, the amp damage doesnt add a ton to your performance. - I'd HIGHLY recommend Warpstone in the build as early as you can, it's a worse Phantom Strike but it genuinely makes you much harder to kill. - Something I don't think people talk about enough is that Paradox inherently plays very close to melee range quite often, since you're swapping into the team. A good tip in close range fights is throwing down a wall and nading at your own feet, and fighting around the wall within your nade. Your nade amplifies your damage towards people that are hit by its pulses, and with people getting silenced and damaged by a % of their max hp when they walk through your wall, if you're building resists and are relatively tanky you can really hold your own super well in a fight. Love the videos, only found you recently but I'm so happy to see you trying my favourite hero. Throw your wall down when the shot is charged right before you fire, then land the 4. It is a lot though, I’ve been doing the same masochistic thing to myself playing her. Constant ganking seems to be the play from watching Mikaels. I did learn through testing that not only does mystic shot work with the 3, quicksilver bullets works with it as well. I’ve been rushing those two for big 3 dmg.

8:45 if you can use 3 through your 2 and swap through the wall, it does guaranteed 20% damage with the swap alone
