Small info: at this concert, the musicians were Isao (guitar), Boh (bass), Hideki Aoyama (drums) and Leda (guitar). This Arkadia performance is my favorite; I love this part 4:38 :)

@@BlackArr0w Yes, I'm sure. The Kamis are easily recognizable by their instruments. For example, Boh's 6-string bass and Isao's red and black 8-string guitar. Also, this concert took place in late June 2019. The Kamis of the West started performing with Babymetal in September/October 2019 (USA tour).

@@RokkaKohara The video is not from "Legend - M" (July 2019). It's from "Babymetal Awakens - The Sun Also Rises" (June 2019). The concerts titled "Legend - Metal Galaxy" took place in late January 2020. The Kamis of the West started performing with Babymetal in September/October 2019 (USA tour).

Arkadia is greek and is kind of a paradise where everything lives in harmony together, so the title alone pretty much conveys the message of the song. The show was in Yokohama Arena in Jun 2019, I think its capacity is around 16 or 17k, and BM concerts are pretty much always sold out. But it's an average audience size for BM concerts in Japan the last few years.

"Arkadia" is on my top 3 and it would be my number one if two of their bigger classics never existed... but it still has room to grow and probably will be my favorite song ever in the future. Well, I'm a huge power metal fan and that was like fishing in a barrel. "Arkadia" closes brilliantly the "Trilogy of Lights" and it's full of hope, bright, uplifting, with a fast tempo... Also the choreo is absolutely amazing and that Su's big smile (3:23 mark on your video) can light up the darkest night. Okay, I'm done with the "light" metaphor :) Until next time!

This was the first song on that concert (and yes, as you noticed, there was a lot of people there, the Yokohama Arena can hold more than 16000 people, and it was packed), this was their first concert after the Dark side era, and after around 6 months without any concert and the announce of ther third album a couple of months before this, but still without many informations on it, then at this concert they reveal the avanger system and it was also the first time this song was performed live. I can`t even imagine the level of hype on that crowd during this performance lol This song manages to mix powerful insturmentation with beautiful choreography and vocal harmonizations, and well timed light effects... it is crazy how good it all flow together. Not that they dont do it on other songs, but this is another great example of that. The trilogy of lights is beautiful, and although my favorite performance of Shine is the Legend M one, the Legend Metal Galaxy performance of the three songs one after the other, for the first time, with those huge screens behind and around them, and with all the effects, was one of the most amazing things they done untill now. That entire concert was such a beautiful production.

I think this is fastest song by BABYMETAL. That drumer is a killing machine, and my favorite song from Metal Galaxy Album. Good reaction again djentlee 🤘

Great reaction to this trilogy. I guess when you take all 3 songs into consideration, it's really a fitting finale to the trilogy. Each song conveyed their intended emotions. Not sure why but even though this song is a lot more upbeat then the other 2, I often get emotional when they sing the chorus. Su's voice is just so incredible.

@@Dus306 As far as I know it was a real possibility. The choreographer is the choreographer for Babymetal. Babymetal back around 2014-15 sometime worked with the Japanese govt program called cool Japan. So there is connections there for it to happen. No official statement has been made as far as I know for the opening of the Olympics. Countries like to surprise folks for that. Sometimes you gotta put it out there that the demand is there for it. And Babymetal is very popular around the world.

Nice reaction! Arkadia will always be my favorite babymetal song. I can't really explain why but I always get teary-eyed with the chorus. Maybe it's because it just sound so victorious and djentlee (gently) touches your heart and emotions. For me, it was the Road of Resistance of Metal Galaxy.

Nice & thanks again from Japan 有難う💛。This Arkadia performed in June 2019 was special because it was the opening song of two concerts which were finally held after a long silent period following the controversial "Dark Side" era. (I like that era, though. Honestly in the hindsight). I hope you would compare with other versions performed at the Forum, LA (2019) and Legend Metal Galaxy at Makuhari (2020). Those two versions were backed by West (American) Kamis and great, too. You can enjoy them privately because the footage will definitely get blocked and not available from Reactor Resources. Yet?

Last of the Trilogy of Lights. Arkadia resembles Road of Resistance in many ways. Fast pace with positive lyrics. A masterpiece the way it's connected to each other. Listening to Starlight and Shine make me remember Mikio Fujioka and Yuimetal. Arkadia just hits you hard and looking forward to the future, no turning back. That's why Babymetal is unique and different from any metal band out there. 🦊🦊🦊🤘🇯🇵🇸🇬

While starlight might be a tribute for mikio or yui, the trilogy of lights as a whole is more relatable to the girls ( yui and current babymetal) Well... mikio and yuimetal had some in common, they both love stargazing, and they both already dead ( refer to "star" and loss) The song that really tribute to mikio is "Hill of Wisteria" by his fellow kami band member

It took me a while to get into Arkadia. It wasn‘t really until I looked into the lyrics of the song and the whole trilogy that I started appreciating it. It totally changed the feel of the song for me. That chorus now sometimes even makes me tear up, although musically the song is not very emotional at all.
