It’s unfortunate that GGG was avoided throughout his prime & was robbed of his career defining victory in the first fight against Canelo. All respect goes to GGG. In all honestly it was a wonderful business move for him. He potentially walks away with 45 million, won’t be judged on the fight as he’s 40 years old, is still the unified champion at 160 & didn’t walk away with much damage.

Most experts assessed that GGG won the first fight. Lets say Canelo won the second ignoring the controversy. Canelo and his team didn't agree for the trilogy immediately. Called GGG a B grade fighter after the loss ducking him. Waited 4 years until he turned 40 years and used this fight as a redemption after a loss coz the world knows what the name GGG means. And that's why Canelo gets even more hate.
