Don't know is if I'd ever use one but nice to see it working to make all in all Better 😇

Is there a link to where i can buy that bracket and actuator for my electric trolling motor?
@phillipjacobson44572 жыл бұрын
One fix for this problem. Drill a second hole into the liner actuator rod closer to the actuator body use a dremel tool or diegrinder and burr, to create a slot instead of a hole. To give you a little extra play on the extend function of the ram. Carefully measure just the proper amount to slot the hole. Don't make the slot to long.

Negative angle is good for displacement hulls to increase top speed by lengthening the waterline in some cases.

Mr. Cee Gee very true. I have to grind a few mm on the upper bracket to get about 3-5 degrees of negative angle. I have about .25 of a inch remaining on the articulation travel. This will help push the nose down on some craft.

Hi guys I know it's been a while but is there a way to get one of those already assembled from you? Thanks a lot for all your hard work and good videos!!!

@@DenisHoule-w5f unfortunately we are not producing these due to the cost and lack of demand. We now use a simple pulley system to pivot the engine up. Less moving parts to worry about.

Hello Matt, I'm a customer. I have had the GX 50 on my Native Slayer 13 for the past 3/4 years or so. I love it. Recently, when I returned to the launch after a day of fishing on Indian River near Sebastian Inlet I noticed that the top top collar on the motor bracket had broke on one side. Where can I purchase this part?

How did you hook the actuator to the back of you motor mount.
@kayakbuddysllc-lightweight49472 жыл бұрын
If you look on the website you will see the newer version that uses a clamp and stainless stock with holes to adjust the throw. The main bracket has to be drilled to accommodate the actuator.

What is the bracket, that's holding the actuator, either made out of or from? Cool cool!
@kayakbuddysllc-lightweight49475 жыл бұрын
Guy H. that is the original bracket that comes with the engine leg. One set of holes were drilled out toward the clamps and a stainless bolt runs through these holes to allow the actuator to move. The 2 inch actuator use a collar that slides on the drive tube with a stainless clamp. I added a cut in on each side of the plastic collar to allow easier movement of the clamp. Works incredibly well.

Matt-very cool mod! Do you have a part number and brand for the actuator?
@kayakbuddysllc-lightweight49473 жыл бұрын
That is a 2 inch marine series actuator. Amazon has them.

Pretty sure you can solve the overloading issue with an auto reset circuit breaker. But hey, I'm just an apprentice at Hyundai. What do you think?

too complicated
@kayakbuddysllc-lightweight49475 жыл бұрын
Verdell Parent it’s 3 holes and a U bolt. How is it complicated? 2 wires connected inline with your lights or GPS and your done.
