There is a door on the 32 aft berth. The stairs slide from side to side and work as a door.

Ok, thanks, I will rewatch and see howbit works. Already pumped for the premiere of the new Dragonfly trimaran in January. Plan to do the video right away =]

I'm sorry but Its not possible for this boat to move at 3x wind speed, maybe you confused 1.3 with 3?! you need to do do your research! on water the maximum a sailboat can go (unless its a foil) is 1.5x wind speed, on land (sand yacht) its 2x wind speed and on ice (Ice yacht) its 2.5x wind speed. imagine you have 15knots of wind and it reaches 45knots of speed, which is 81kph on water?!!! maybe ice, Ice yachts were the first to reach 100kph at the turn of the twentieth century even before trains, between Long Island and the mainland USA. Happy Sailing!

Yes, it's definitely 1.3, sorry if it was unclear. Cool info about the ice yachts. Thanks!

Even if it’s « just » 1.3, this is huge !

To bad you don’t know what you are talking about. The boat you showed from 2011 is a Corsair. They don’t go 3 tines wind speed. Ive had 2 trimarans.
@parttimecrazyboats54684 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I noticed it was a Corsair when editing the video. I mostly meant "my first trimaran". Thanks for pointing that out. You are right, my remark was a little unintelligible. I was saying "It goes like 1.3 time windspeed".

How tall are you Part Time, given that you couldn't sit (or did you mean stand?) in the 25?

Please don’t call that a review. This is even a sorry walk though. The brochure tells you more than this video. You surely convey the impression that you haven’t got a clew about multihull sailing.

Well, Stefan, if you want to take me out to sea for a couple of days and teach me, I'm all ears. 😇 But you are right, I'm trying to up the information content on newee videos. And I indeed only sailed beach cats (on the multihull side). If you know a good Dragonfly charter in Europe, please tell me!

Part Time Crazy Boats, With a few hours of into you can charter a DF28 directly from Quorning in DK. Or attend their open days. Then you can experience first hand that these boats are so much more than just the appearance and what the brochure says. Because by just that you won’t be able to justify the price. You need to factor in the grin on your face when you sail quietly and effortless past a monohull under engine in 7-8 kn of wind with a 25 or 28 footer, or let her dash at 15kn+ single handed and feel just fine (actually a bit more than that!) rather than out of control. There is a bit of video footage out there to give you a hint about the action from the comfort of the living room. I’ll Resort to that for the next months since I’m not tough enough for sailing in sub zero temperatures. 🙄

@@stefanseyfried8201 Very cool! I saw some of the videos and can very much imagine the grin. This definitely goes in the todo list for next year. Will talk to them in January at the boot in Dusseldorf. Thanks a lot!

But we got a lot of views, e.g. of the interior, that aren't available elsewhere. Every picture of a Dragonfly is valuable when you are lusting after one!
