That is how you take care of stuff......That Walker came out looking like it is BRAND NEW.......I don`t know many folks that take the time to get that detailed.........I can bet that if you guys take care of everything the way you take care of that then you most likely spend less money on repairs and have a whole lot less down time..........

Also on your echo pas units, might want to check the spark arrestors in the mufflers, if you haven't done so already. those smaller units especially have issues with the spark arrestor plugging up

ilike2mow thanks man appreciate the help. I have had all of them in the shop and had them cleaned but still run really bad. They told me it's about time I get new carbs
@ilike2mow7 жыл бұрын
I see. I've noticed that with these echos that they just seem to come to a point where the carb just has to be replaced unfortunately
@Pure_KodiakWILD_Power7 жыл бұрын
a new carb after 2 or 3 years & a cleaning where the muffler connects to the engine ( the mech said he had to remove the muffler & clean that out ) made my 266t run like a beast. she probably needed just the cleaning, but i'd already changed out the carb before i took it in for an adjustment. i'd run my echo handhelds against stihl any day.

Switching to none ethanol is a good. Idea. That's. all I run. In my equipment it cost me. Around 50cents per gallon more. But well worth it. I don't. Winterize my stuff. Top it all off. At the end of the season no problems come spring. Also. Keep that battery charging from you truck while you. Drive. That seven way trailer plug. Can be set up to have a hot wire. From truck to trailer battery I set it up for my dump trailer works great never have a dead battery and I don't have to put it on a charger

Use stihl oil mix into your gas . Don't use the echo oil mix because it's recycled oil . Stihl oil mix helps your equipment run at cooler temp and minimize carb issues .

Considering a walker purchase myself this spring. Do you find dealing with getting grass from the box to the truck a hassle! Have have you solved this? The bags on my current mower are easy to remove and dump and I'm most worried about how I will get clippings from box to truck. I don't intend to buy the high lift.
@AmbrosLandscapingInc7 жыл бұрын
Swimbait1 I had the same question before I purchased mine and there are a few methods to get the grass in the truck. 1. High Lift - basically this lifts the catcher and dumps the grass into the bed of the truck..cons: kinda spendy and adds weight to mower. And if the walls on the truck are to high it won't work. 2. Dump grass on the ground onto a tarp or buckets and then throw them into the truck...a really big hassle. 3. They have buckets that fit into the back of the mowers catcher that can be taken out and dumped into the truck like a accelerator bagged. They are affordable I believe under or around $300.

Yes the high lift out of my pride range. Thanks.

If you use a trailer you could make a ramp on the front of it and drive right into the truck.

What plants is that you are trimming in the first few minutes of this vids? Want to propose planting that for my clients!
@zerocool2121217 жыл бұрын
switching brands wont help much imo. its simple physics ethanol attracts water and in the gas tanks you use the hot/cold pulls water into the gas and into the tank if its not removed. i would at least get a mr.funnel and run your gas through that before using it to see if anything is in it. if they are still running rough id just use some seafoam and run a tank of gas through it 100% if its fixable that solves the issue vs new/rebuild carb. also check the gap on the plug to make sure its set correctly(not a common issue) also if you cant buy non ethanol you can look how to remove it with a quick search.

Both echo and stihl are bad. Get a battery powered machine. Ethanol will affect all petrol equipment. Ego battery machines are the best- and for someone using it day in day out than you can invest in a backpack battery- charge over night and will last you the day. Keep the mowers and use battery handhelds
@lawnenforcement9996 жыл бұрын
Ha!!!! Switching out the fuel to non ethanol!? Seeing if that does anything??? Lmao!!! Heck no you don’t use ethanol. I used ethanol for the first time in 4 years bc I wasnt in an area with non ethanol and my brand new blower I bought 4 days ago wouldn’t run. Ethanol is total garbage!!! If you use non ethanol you should never have a problem again.
