What helped me the most is forgetting EVERYTHING i learned about bunnyhopping. Just hold W and think of it like you are drifting a Car, the further you angle in, the more your trajectory follows.

trimping is something that was really prevalent in Fortress Forever, however it's definition is totally different there. Essentially it was when you bunnyhop on a slope, your second jump has more vertical momentum and less horizontal momentum

Timing is very, very strict. Pretty much frame perfect. You could make things easier by binding jump and charge to one button, using a script, since that's something TF2 lets you do.
