Pies Hopping in Trinidad

Every time I drove along Tragarete road in town, I kept seeing this green building with a line in front of it, now I knew it was a food spot but I wasn’t sure what kind of food they sold until this video. Once I realised it’s Pies, like potato (also locally known as ‘Aloo’) pies and fish pies, just thought I’d explore some other Pies spots in this one.
So join us my Trinbago Vibes peeps as we try these kind of Pies, including ah chicken pie at 3 spots, right here in Trinidad and Tobago. By d Way, I think two of these spots are related, or possibly an extra branch, but let me know what y’all think after taking it in

Hey, saw you guys last two months at Brooklyn Bar. I was entering and you guys were existing at the next entrance lol . I love pies, my best aloopie was Ali's in Vistabella, years ago at the back of Monty's San Fernando. I also enjoyed Aloopies at Bamboo Palace opposite Grand School in San Fernando. Few years ago I use to purchase pies at the Whalf in San Fernando,but it was a long wait plus a lot of attitude! But the pies were very tasty, especially the aloo and cheese. I purchased a few months ago and the Attitude hasn't changed,but the pies are not as good as before... I go for Aloopies by Empire Cinema San Fernando and I purchase from the Pie man(Rasta) by Royal Castle- who I've been supporting many years,as his service and Aloo with Cheese is the bomb! I've yet to find a good pie place,with all of these combinations,will try out these places. Thanks for the video!

When I was working in Sando, back in the 90's, there was a pie man used to go to various business places in the mornings. He used to have the best pies I have ever tasted!!

Claxton bay fish market for fish and potato pies. Weekends very early anytime before 730am . U can even ask for small slices of fried fish in ur pie

The blue pie shop in Woodbrook is a long standing spot..always a winner. The spot in Balmain has a van on mornings that I love❤❤ the baigan pie and aloo is tops as is the saheena. Good one Rajeev👌👌
