I’m excited to share my Trini Style Boil Corn in Coconut Milk today. This traditional Caribbean dish is bursting with flavor and incredibly easy to make. Prepare to transport your taste buds to the tropics with every delicious bite! It's very flavorful, tasty, and well-seasoned. Try this recipe for your summer BBQ.
🌟 INGREDIENTS:
• 4 CORN ON THE COB CUT IN HALF
• 1 CAN OF COCONUT MILK
• 1 CUP SCALLION CHOPPED
• 4 SPRIGS THYME
• 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER
• 1 TEASPOON CREOLE SEASONING
• 1 TEASPOON BLACK PEPPER
• 1 TEASPOON SUGAR (OPTIONAL)
• 3 BANDANIA LEAVES
• 5 CLOVES GARLIC (GRATED)
• 1 HOT PEPPER
📋 Instructions:
1. In a large pot, melt butter, sauté onions, and garlic until fragrant.
2. Add coconut milk, thyme, scotch bonnet pepper, bell pepper, salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil.
3. Add corn pieces and cook until tender, about 20-25 minutes.
4. Garnish with fresh culantro and serve hot.
💡 Pro Tips:
• Adjust the heat level by adding more or less scotch bonnet pepper.
• Use fresh corn for the best results.
