What happened to my beloved Matelot? I spent great time there in 2009 and I fell in love with nature & people there. But now it seems that there is a lot of trash everywhere. The same seems to be happened at Shark River. The night with leatherbacks coming out of the ocean for hatching - this special moment at the beach in G.R. - me and my daughters we`ll never forget. Please bros and sistas take care for your paradise, you´ve got only one!

A few years ago my family and I had the fortunate opportunity to witness a villager save the lives of three people who were drowning in San Souci beach. It was very rough that day and they were drawn in by the strong current. This villager (hero) knew the current flow so well that he was able to execute the rescue dramatically. One of them was a foreigner who had to have CPR done on him,

☺ Just yesterday I stopped off at the beach you showed at the beginning, to relax some more a bit. Was coming back from Toco beach. Many years ago, at that very beach, I saw a baby leather back that had just hatched, emerging from the sand and heading out to sea. From the river bank, Shark river looks deceptively shallow but that water can deep.

Hey Alan, beautiful video as always. I am a fellow Trini living in Florida, so I know or have heard of so many of the places that you go to and I really enjoy all of the views and stops along the way. One thing came to mind at the start of this video, when you said you guys would be taking a drive along the North coast, I immediately thought you could show on a map of Trinidad, at the start of each video exactly where you would be heading that trip, in comparison to where you live in the NW. It might not mean a lot to your viewers who don't know Trinidad & Tobago, but to Trinis like me who have lived away for so many years, I sometimes hear the name of a town or a village and I am thinking, where is that again? Is that in Central or Deep South? Just an idea, not sure if it is possible. Wishing you continued success with this venture, keep up the excellent work. All the best.
