Amazing my mum was born 1925 , and she used to tell us how she used to take the trolley bus to Providence in Belmont from Cocorite, she’s now in her 99 yr and still going strong . 👊🏽❤️🇹🇹❤️👊🏽

Was speaking to my great aunt who was born in 1932 today. She was telling me about the world war II and the things she saw back then. Amazing history, So happy to see a glimpse of her past. Even though i didn't exist back then i feel so much nostalgia.

Would you be able to share some of those stories? I'm working on a novel set in colonial Trinidad.

My grandma would have been about 7 here. It's interesting to see things she may have seen at that time.

Of course the newsreel only shows nice estates of the British masters etc. but not the shanty towns of the oppressed people of Trinidad.

Ah boy. There just had to one comment about the masters and the poor victimized natives Yeah...and it was still a part of Trinidad. I am quite grateful for any type of footage of those days. They are quite rare.
