Thanks for sharing your independence day....it's so refreshing to see an all black country..im from the states and believe me hold on to your culture because it is not honored by everyone here. Btw...please ask parade organizers to add. banners next year so that we learn who all the organizations or schools and such who participated in the parade. Just a suggestion ❤

Trinidad isn't actually "all black", it's a mix of Indians, Caucasians, Africans, Asians and Natives.

Guys can anyone explain why there are so many heavily armed military type folks guarding the parade? Seems a bit over the top. Sorry not from the Caribbean
@TriniDell7 жыл бұрын
musilete they always have that level of security along the route to ward off any ideas of the personnel taking part in the parade as soft targets. It's in the centre of the countrys capital.

I never understood why people have to be walking along and inside of the parade. You will never see this where I live. For a matter of fact there will always be barricades right along the route. I know that they probably can't afford the barricades but people will never learn in this place. Lots of training for these types of parades needed for some of the sections. So many policemen and they can't catch those bad guys? Thanks for the video. Left home decades ago.

Don't trinis HAVE a stadium or a sports field WHERE the cops can march.Marching on the streets only increases traffic jams.
