Welcome back to another video and in this vlog i will spend 24 hours eating some of Trinidad’s best known dishes with another travel vlogger ​⁠‪@IsaTravels‬ . I spent two nights at queens savanna park here in Trinidad eating everything they had to offer. Trinidad is a Mecca in the Caribbean for food from all over the world due to many cultural influences here. This is just ONE of MANY food areas you can visit in the Port of Spain area. I'm totally amazed in video after video that I watched of this country how much clean and hygienic the street food sellers are. Some even got their own uniforms. I saw the same attention cleanliness in Barbados also. I'm destined to visit Trinidad one day the food looks so amazing.

Thank you. We have a ministry of health that institutes health codes. Every person selling has to have a health badge or license to sell. Also, as a customer in Trinidad, you can ask to see the seller's food badge. It has to be on display.

You should try the other street food. At Eddie Hart grounds and Cross crossings in San Fernando. The southern side. Have someone drive you around La Romain gulf view area. And Palmiste, Chagaunas and Debe. I think it’s worthy of a Day trip. See how the other side of the country lives. Lots of beautiful homes . I think influencers are missing out .

You fked up not having any non-hustling locals advise you on the food for example roast corn is purposefully made with the hard corn kernels while the boiled corn uses the soft corn kernels (young corn) somebody would have mentioned that to you but both are delicious actually for Trinis but your preference is obviously boiled corn…and all those drinks were bs, locals just branding their own crap and hustling the peanut drink was good pick tho, but doesn’t pair well internally with a lot of what you had (🚽😅) someone should have and would have advised you on that as well…lastly you skipped on the best drink there is which is called ‘mauby’, hopefully you get to try that before you leave
