Recently discovered your channel and enjoy it quite a bit, however i feel like there is an elephant in the room here which must be addressed which is the political. God represents an eternal political stagnation, or even retrogradation. You are right that god has no potentiality because god is incapable of progression. This is what nietchze was hinting at. The name of the god is dead and REMAINS dead, meaning humans must rationally attempt to fill the gap left by god, if we are to ever be able to fill the void within ourselves. A new god made in the image of man without heirarchy. Anything less is a decaying monstrosity, dead and stagnant in its form.

No, a turning back to God is needed. Nothing new is required, Christ is the Telos of history and to turn away from this Telos leads us to stagnation. He is the eternal ideal, the Logos.
