Ceramic dust is lesser evil of them all. Acid fumes don't just look menacing, they're deadly. They can evaporate your eyeballs & destroy lungs.. A gas mask, rubber gloves, synthetic apron, eye protection and an outdoor work station away from civilization is the way to go..😎😆😂

Ure home made tools is great quality bro, and if U worked with that way you must grind it to 200mesh size, otherwise not 100% metal get recovered. you can add zink/lead/copper dust as metal colector

I am not sure if this method will be better. But it is working. If the quantity is more, a larger furnace will be required.

Basically the same if you refine with acid, this is because they dint use gold or silver bond wires in the ceramic, it's always copper, very rarely usually in fake chips it's aluminum

Who is “they” when you’re talking about the bond wire material? I process several hundred pounds a year of these, and although there are some without gold bonding wires, I definitely have a good amount that do infact have them. Thanks!

You can't find this big graphite crucible for melting casting or aluminum. But you can melt on cast iron crucible.
