Would love for you to discuss cleaning your garments and how to store items during off season. Do you ever dry clean your clothes? Do you wash your dresses? I live in a hot humid climate, we sweat every day-unfortunately. I use underarm shields in most all my blazers so I can wear sleeveless tops with the blazer.

@@jillf24 Yes, usually jackets with pads, Woollen cashmere coats, Gabardine raincoats with a waterguard cover clean, makes them water resistant☂️💦..... Tailored Trouser suits, get drycleaned. I always wash 100% cotton dresses ..Linen drip dry after a cool wash 30 degrees.WORKED in a dry cleaners, My mother was the Manageress since 1964-1980. I remember when a pair of trs was 40 pence in Britain.

I agree with Jemima. Keep the white Alaïa shirt. It can be dressed up or dressed down. It is a unique design and different from the other white shirts in your closet. Love this Closet Clearout! 💛

Keep that navy (black?) jacket with the cutout armpits and wear with a long sleeved, tight fitting shirt - such as one with sequins/sparkles. Will highlight the shirt underneath and still get the cool of the jacket…and you won’t notice the part of your arms you are bothered with.

The armpit aeriation blazer is definitely a keeper! You can do so much out of it. If you layer it, you don't see the arms, if it is important to you, but still have aeriation and an interesting piece of fashion, which is also very versatile. Please keep it, I'm sure you'll find great creative ways to wear it and celebrate fashion, freedom and enjoy yourself ❤🎉

Great wardrobe cull but definitely keep the white Alaia shirt; you'd regret losing it. Could even dye it if you want it to be a little more distinctive. I bought several pale grey cashmere jumpers which made my face look grey too and dyed them pastel colours more in keeping with the rest of my wardrobe. I'm now going to check all my button front shirts and jackets are fastened to keep them wearable. Great advice!

💫Tip 💫 If its white cotton , anything basically, you can wash it with baking soda and white vinegar 🤩 on the maximum temperature of the garments... You'll be amazed how white it will turn out 💯 any yellow armpit stains of deodorant, spray some aid rinse on it and let it sit, toss it in the washer and wash it on the maximum temperature of the garment... 🥳🥳🥳 Works like a charm 💯😇

Keep the Alaia!!!! It's special and amazing and you will regret it. The things I regret culling are my special designer pieces that have a strong POV, because if I loved it once and it's cut well, I'll love it again. And when you bring it out again, NO ONE HAS IT!

Ann Demeulemeester did the best boots (don’t know if she sold her company or not). I have five pairs (I used to spend half my salary on them😂) and they are still going strong. The triple lace boots are a favourite, along with my sandals with lots of buckle straps, combat boots, and I have this fabulous pair of over the knee boots (almost a little Three Musketeers style) and another pair. I’ve had them for a good 12 years and they’re so well made, super cool and comfortable - a rare and winning combination - and totally my vibe.

Thanx for the challenge Trinny!! Walter jacket - I would size up (is it oversized on you?) and dress it down with an oversized jumper and tracksuits. Probably go all black or monochromatic. As always you dress so awesomely Trinny, I've been watching CC for the last 3 or 4yrs cos I really enjoy your pod cast. One Q, how do you take care in terms of laundering/ironing or pressing all of your clothes? I ask cos your duds always look so clean & crease less. Sometimes if I wear a lot of office/button down shirts, to keep them in good condition I like to soak them in Milk or Nappy San to bring them back to fresh white but, that can take me most of a Saturday then I like them to dry out in fresh air n sunshine which is good for natural fibre so, by the time I get them in to give them a press it can take a bit of time but worthwhile when i put an outfit together. I just wondered how you do it cos you have a big range, or do you simply put them in the dry cleaners instead? Curious Kiwi 🤩🌻 Thanks for all the great tips I've learnt from you over the years, you've been such a help in showing me how to dress myself properly and with great attention to those little details 💖

Have you ever done an experiment where you track what you actually wear? I know you collect clothes and have many more occasions for dressing in special ways, but I still cannot get my head how you manage to keep track of all your treasures. I’m asking because I sometimes think you must have more days in the month thand I. Admittedly I never get beyond smart casual for which I have two dresses, one of which will double for funerals. I play with scarves and latterly ties to mix things up and I‘m still recognised as being quite creative with my sartorial choices.

I give all that is not used for 1 to 2 years. I think you are just doing a tour! Because you don’t give anything and have always an excuse to keep things you don’t use for 4 years or something. So is a bit of a tour through your wardrobe, That is amazing and gives good ideas for items and organization. But is not declutter
