The short lived TV show Sunday Night with hosts David Sanborn and Jools Holland featured top jazz and eclectic acts. Here Jools introduces the Bulgarian vocal trio as they perform this amazing set.

Wow! These folks are new to me. I sang Balkan and danced Balkan in the 60's & 70's in the SF Bay Area. I sang with 2 Balkan groups and sang for 2 professional Israeli groups as well. Life is full of discovery. At 84 I love these women who sing in the old village style. Thank you

I haven't forgotten this melody since hearing this song performed by this amazing trio over 30 years ago. Thanks for posting it! Love the 3 generations singing together in tight harmony, about love. Beautiful.

Me too! I heard them on Wogan. Must have been just the same time! This was instantly in my top pieces of music ever heard. Scoured Manchester following day after speaking to BBC to ask who they were and managed to find their album with this beautiful song on tape. Have loved them ever since. You must have been the other person feeling exactly the same at exactly the same time ❤
