Those dots, they save birds. The amount of glass at the McNamara Terminal is so massive, the carnage of birds crashing into glass would have been epic. Birds see the dots, they realize that they can’t fly through, they don’t die.

I had completely forgotten about those damned dots, it's been so long since I flew out of DTW. I groaned when I walked up to shoot that segment of the video.
