TRIP REPORT: Aer Lingus A330-200 Economy Class Orlando to Dublin

Welcome to my first trip report. Today I flew from Orlando to Dublin with Aer lingus Economy Class on their A330-200. Hope you enjoy!

Aircraft: A330-200 (EI-LAX)
Flight Number: EI120
Flight time: 7 hrs 50 mins ( including holding time in Dublin)
***Conclusion *****
Cons: The check - in at Orlando was a bit hard to find as there was no billboard with Aer lingus on it. There were only signs to say where it was but we found it in the end.
There was a holding time in Dublin for about 20 minutes due to heavy traffic in the area which caused a bit of a scurry with other passengers but it didn’t bother me at all I wanted to stay on the aircraft for as long as possible despite the flight we’ve had

Pros: Orlando International Airport was absolutely fantastic in terms of its scenery and its keeping with cleaners going around cleaning constantly. There was not one spec of dirt I found maybe except for the window on the monorail as you can see in this report
Aer Lingus are an absolute fantastic airline to travel transatlantic. The crew constantly came around with drinks and snacks for the kids over night. The meal was good for a four star airline. And their service was fantastic too as they came around with tea or coffee for the adults
Dublin Airport is a good airport to travel into or connecting flights. I had no bother with passport control and we just got our bags and took the shuttle bus to the car park to where our car was located

I just recently took this flight back from MCO following a cruise just before global lockdown - early March. It was the newer cabin, good service! Glad it's a frequent service too, as I go back and forward to Orlando a lot for cruises and the direct route just cuts out the layover and gets us to the hotel on the other side quicker. Keep up the videos.

This eerily similar to my flight from Orlando to Dublin on Aer Lingus. I saw a 777-200 for Gatwick at the exact same gate and I departed from the same gate.

Loved your video brilliant and informative. Who would take a flight to Gatwick as British airways were doing ? It would be easier to fly to Heathrow unless from Orlando doesn't do Heathrow .
