Nice one, I actually did this same route at the same time more or less I believe but 3 days earlier. Funny seeing the exact same process, also had to wait around for checkin staff. Had a slight problem with immigration though leaving Chengdu, they wanted a departure card filled out but all they had was arrival cards, after getting rather flustered they just let me through without any departure card so yeah, I think Starbucks must have JUST opened also because even the security filter wasn't open when I wanted to go through.

Chinese immigration can be quite challenging, not to say a pain in the butt. I can feel you, even though I had no trouble luckily. I got myself some coffee at a restaurant at the end of the terminal. Not a good coffee, but it was still coffee though. Thanks again for commenting on my video! :)
