TRIP REPORT / AIR FRANCE A350 PARIS CDG - SINGAPORE [ECONOMY CLASS]+ LOUNGE

Today I flew an A350 of Air France from Paris CDG to Singapore. I heard bad stuff about Air France before but this flight actually exceeded my expectations. The crew were really nice, the inflight entertainment was pretty good, and the seat itself was quite good and very comfortable. Great job Air France !

I have flown Air France B777 on long haul flights four times between Houston Tx and CDG and enjoyed the flights and the service. CDG, however is too large and confusing to make on time connections. Two hours is barely enough. In Atlanta Hartsfield airport you can connect between any two gates in different terminals in a maximum 20 minutes.

The pre arrival box is pretty disappointing given the 10+ hour flight length. Pretty much every single other airline/competitor operating similar flight times/ similar routes serves you a proper full second hot meal with trays in Y . You may be impressed but also might be shocked that it is literally the worst (lowest) offering in the industry for a second meal on an almost 13-14 hour flight….

Thank you for your comment! I totally agree with you that Air France could improve their pre-arrival box, however, I would say it's pretty original and no other airlines serve breakfast this way. I also agree that Air France is not the best airline on this route since they are other airlines such as Singapore Airlines, SWISS or Lufthansa, or the UAE airlines like Emirates or Etihad, but one thing I liked with Air France is that the food on board is very high-quality products. I think they have a lot to do to catch up with the competition on this route from CDG to Changi but I don't think they are the worse airline on this route :)
