Another excellent video! I loved the view of the wing. It's unusual for airlines to have their logo over the wing but it looked very nice in this case! Keep going...

I've been on the Alitalia A320 in 2012 when it still had the seatback screens. There was actually decent content with about 15 channels, with some music, movies, and inflight map. The channels and volume was controlled through the controller in the armrest. The screen resolution is low by today's standards but perfectly adequate. Not all of the Alitalia A320 had these screens though. Some of the A321 and A319 already had a plastic cover over what it would be the IFE screens, the reasons for doing that is beyond my knowledge.

Yeah, you remember well. The former Air One A320s had TV screens on the back of each seat, but they were not always switched on. On short flight, you even don’t have enough time to watch a movie, but at least you could enjoy the inflight live map. Unfortunately, Alitalia removed all IFE from their A320s in order to reduce weight and maintenance costs.

The AZ A320 with IFE I went on in 2012 was EI-DTB, so brand new from 2009 and not from Air One.
@NikiSvaizer2 жыл бұрын
EI-DTB was already booked by Air One and transferred as is to Alitalia after acquisition of Air One by Alitalia. EI-DTA was the last A320 delivered to Air One and was transferred to Alitalia one month after delivery, while EI-DTB was the first A320 directly delivered to Alitalia, as Air One already ended their operations.

I'm neapolitan, and it's a fake myth that here is always sunny. In fact Naples is one of the most rainy italian city (although the summer is very dry) due to its exposition to SW wind
@NikiSvaizer3 жыл бұрын
Didn’t know that Naples was so rainy… I believed that northern Italy had the worst weather in Italy…
@Phlegrean3 жыл бұрын
@@NikiSvaizer North is colder and foggy, but it's the tyrrenian coast to suffer more rain, above all Liguria (Genoa in particular)
