Trip Report: American Airlines | A321 | First Class | Charlotte, NC - Dallas/Ft Worth, TX

OMG a real review on a domestic flight!! We need more of these!! Wifey and I only fly AA and prefer either the E175 or A321 but don't snub the 19 or 20 though, and maybe it's just us, but those seats aren't as comfy. And ugh 737s. 20 years flying AA and NEVER had a bad experience. Did have RBF on 1 flight but she perked right up when we gave them chocolates 😂. We weren't even supposed to have a PDB because we were late but she made us a quick 1. Remember folks, a box of chocolates or any treat is appreciated. A few dollars - it won't kill you. And remember to greet them back!!

I have flown the A321 neo many times and most of the times I sit on row 4 either the left or right and love those amazing engines sound that are music to my ears 😂😂😊

Honestly, if you do some math, you'd be surprised how close the fare really is in the end. Baggage fees, priority access to both bag check and security (time is money), a meal (always check first if 1 is being offered), nice spacious seat, adult beverages. It all adds up!! We only paid $78 more total (R/T) and was definitely worth it.

Glad you escaped the purgatory of economy class! As one who has flown American for many years, i can only share that I am am always shocked at the level of comfort and service American provides in domestic first class today! It is so far below what I experienced, even in economy class, in days gone by! But that is the pathetic state of the airline industry today! 😢

Just a poor business class
