another excellent video! If i may suggest, don't forget next year, to try SWA flight with open boarding again and then try the new assigned seats when they open up and i would love your comparison view on that, since it is such a drastic change? just an idea, all your videos are great and i really enjoy them:)

Ah yes! That is true. Only issue with SW is that I tried and it did terrible on the channel (the closest airport to me that has SW is 1.5 hrs away too haha)

I had flight via LGA one year go : Houston IAH - LGA on A220-100 , then LGA - Dayton DAY on CRJ-900. La Guardia is great airport! i have a lot of good memories from that trip

Just FYI for future reference (so you can eat more at the lounge), Delta doesn't provide meal service on any flights less than 900 miles.

Flown out of LaGuardia many times going back home to Charlotte. Both with American and Delta. I prefer American because they use 737/A321 and Delta uses CRJ-900 for the routes and as a big person I like the extra room and feel of the 737/a321

It's because CLT is AA's second largest hub. They can fill the larger mainline aircraft given all the onward connections out CLT. Its just an outstation for DL

That A321 was US Airways for CLT. A321's do have some room.

I don’t mind the ads on the jet bridge. 😊Also, a first class seat today is what you would have gotten in coach in 1986. Domestic air travel is a big hassle nowadays.😢

Actually, domestic F now is the 80's Business when it was 3 class service. Economy today is so pathetic it's unbearable.

@@GenkisTravels it's all about the 900 mile mark and plane type. C/ERJ are trash for food because no warmers. All you get is a cold sandwich at best. Seats are ok anywhere. And unless you have no choice, stay away from DFW. It's turned into a nightmare no matter what carrier you're on and the ticket cost is 2-3x CLT is IMO the best layover point to/from the East with MIA surprisingly having some of the best service all-around.

Question. You got access to the first class lounge. On August 5th I took my granddaughter on her first plane ride. We flew first class specifically so we could use the sky club but were denied access because we weren't going on an international flight, didn't have an American Express Card of whatever else they wanted. So, how did you manage it?

I use the American Express card (The Platinum). However, they've capped it at 6 visits a year (because of overcrowding). I don't go into the Sky Club a lot now :/

Overall, OK, but why fast forward on the climb out from LGA? Those are great scenes. I don't frequent NY often. I hate JFK!. The last time I flew out of LGA was in the mid 1970s on the Eastern Shuttle (DC9) to DCA.

Not worth the extra $$$ on short trips. Most American airlines over very little perks. Not really fun anymore. Just a way to get from point A to B.
