Enjoyable video, thanks. Although we live much closer to Gatwick, my partner and I prefer to fly from LCY whenever possible. Easily reached from here in SW Kent by rail to London Bridge then tube and DLR to LCY. OK, the waiting area situation is irritating but, aside from that, it is so much less stressful than using LGW. Keep safe and well.

Interesting that you live nearer to Gatwick but choose to fly from LCY. I'm a single traveler, so transport to and from London airports can often be more expensive than the flights. But traveling from near Margate, LCY offers a much easier, faster, and cheaper alternative. Using BR and DLR, I can get from Birchington Station to LCY in about 2 hours, cost c£35. Not quiet the £5 and 10 minutes it used to take to get to Kent International Airport at Manston, but still way better than all the other London Airports.

MegaAirplanelover Yeah that was, but I believe it’s a requirement of LCY and type certificates aircraft. Only aircraft with fast descent and fast climb can operate in LCY.

I visited this airport in 2019 for work. Loved it. Small airport with friendly staff. DLR will take you where you want to go. Impossible to board the wrong train 😀. Had some really good food on the airport before the return flight.

Ciao, grazie per questo filmato. Ricco di spunti, in tempi così davvero il tuo è un modo per distrarsi dall attualità. La possibilità di un pasto free, ormai in Europa sono limitate in Economy. Anche Swiss dai voli Base Ginevra( eccetto JFK), ha introdotto l'acquisto Tornando ai temi del tuo viaggio. Londra City uno scalo da cui Linate dovrebbe prendere esempio a mio avviso

Un pasto così completo in Economy in Europa non l'ho mai visto, a parte Aegean e Turkish, ma non mi sarei mai aspettato un pasto del genere su un volo British... Ah, anche Swiss base GVA ha introdotto l'acquisto dei pasti? Ma pensa te... Hanno quindi un menù dedicato? LCY e LIN sembrano simili perché definiti city airport, ma sono molto diversi tra loro, a partire dal tipo di aeromobili...

The overhead bins are not that big, so I suggest you to board first if you want to bring your cabin bag onboard.
