TRIP REPORT | easyJet: Flying the ALBINO A319! ツ | London-Gatwick to Madrid

Easyjet Trip Report from London-Gatwick to Madrid onboard one numerous Easyjet A319, but this one without almost any livery on it. An almost white ("albino") Airbus A319. Perhaps a trial livery in the past?
Overall, a great experience with Easyjet on this flight from Gatwick to Madrid. As always, the service onboard was very nice. It's a great detail that they have already all the food warmed-up when yo ask for it. Other airlines wait until you order it to start warming it, so you have to wait for 10-15 minutes. This Easyjet policy is really nice.

One thing I love about European airports are all the duty free shops. I have flown in and out of Copenhagen Kastrup many times and, after security, it's like you enter a very elegant shopping mall. American airports could learn a lesson from that.

I’ve travelled EasyJet on U28255/4 from LGW to FCO. I really enjoyed flying on easyJet. I found them to be a good airline and I thought the food was actually good. One or two delays once we arrived at Gatwick, but that was BA’s fault as one of their aircraft broke down on the runway.

I flew around 6-7 times with EasyJet and it went always fine! I really enjoy flying with them, and all the video had good feedback from you guys, so it's always great to fly with them! haha Actually, I have already another Easyjet flight recorded, pending to edit, and I will be flying from Gatwick to Barcelona also with Easyjet next week. :) Greetings from Madrid! :)

The "albino" livery present on two of their a319s (G-EZEH AND G-EZEN) is because these aircraft were planned to be sold to another company (a South american carrier I think) a few years back, however the transaction didn't go through as planned, and both aircraft ended up being stored for about 10 months, before resuming service with easyjet in May, 2018. I expect they will be re-painted in the new livery sometime soon! Lovely trip reports man, keep up the solid work!!! 👍👍

I flied on the easyJet A319 a long time ago. I like the seat pattern and cabin tbh. I went from (unknown) to (unknown). Sorry if it was unknown, i cant remember lol. Anyways have a good time on some other flights. :)

Brilliant work as always! Much enjoyed. Do like easyJet. This A319 G-EZEH has this livery because it left the EZY fleet, but then came back (for some reason, presumably due to lease) and as 319s are on the way out they didn’t bother putting it into full livery. Same as G-EZEN. Hope this is interesting. :)

Glad it came in handy! I was puzzling why they came back - and I think it’s to do with covering delivery delays with the A21Ns. Recently they exercised purchase options for 12 A320neos to firm orders to help cover the A321 delays as well. :)

The A319s are on the way out, many already have been sold on to United and Allegiant. I think two are due to go to PIA at some point too. So far two have gone to the scrappers. Basically the A319s are leaving in favour of the greater seating capacity on the A320neos replacing them. There’s no need for A319neos, the A320neo is more cost effective for what EZY need. Trouble is A319s of any sort are just not economical any more unfortunately. That’s why the A319neo has not sold very well in comparison to its older siblings the A20N and A21N. EZY’s A321neos are for slot constrained routes as they can carry more PAX in one go. They’ll be put where they’re needed on the network. Hope this helps!

I really like easyJet and use them a lot when I am in the UK to Europe, they feel a big step up from Ryanair, which I feel is like a bus, event though they are only Boeing 😝, unfortunately easyJet have pulled out of Southend, hopefully temporarily, I think the livery was because the planes were going to Sky Airlines in Chile, who seemed to end up operating a few ex-easyJet A319.

Good video . I don't really like easy jet for one reason I've flown easy jet from Barcelona to PARIS CDG and I had 5 hours of delay that was April 2019 since then I havent been on easy jet. Anyway good video.

Thanks so much, Mick!! To be honest, I don't have a great picture of the majority of UK airports. They look old and, when they are not old, they are directly ugly (like Terminal 5 in Heathrow, for example). I don't know, maybe it's because the new Spanish airports are very unique in Europe (Madrid Terminal 4, Barcelona Terminal 1, Malaga airport...). On Saturday I'm uploading the video that I think has the best image quality of the channel till now. Let's see what you'll think about it! :)

Pues yo la web que uso es SkyScanner. Ellos no te venden ningún billete, son tan sólo un buscador y te mandan luego a la web de la aerolínea o el touroperador que lo vende más barato. Podría decirse que son como un Google para los vuelos. Qué ruta tienes pensado hacer? :)

@@pasticho79 Para esa ruta vas a tener muchísimas opciones, pues posiblemente la ruta internacional más servida por diferentes aerolíenas en Madrid. Te ofrecerán vuelos a Heathrow, Stansted, Gatwick, Luton e incluso el aeropuerto de London City. Si lo que quieres es encontrar el mejor precio, antes de comprar, comprueba cuanto te va a costar el desplazamiento desde el aeropuerto en cuestión hasta el sitio donde quieras ir en Londres, pues podría llegar a ser más caro que el propio vuelo. Si bien, dicho todo eso, la opción más económica suele ser Ryanair. Mientras que la más cómoda suele ser el vuelo de las 15:50 de Iberia en el A350 o A340 o A330. Saludos! :)

Eso lo he pensado, pero la verdad es que llegué a la conclusión de que a veces, poniendo más información es peor. Al fin y al cabo todo el mundo sabe todos los nombre de los sitios, o entiende tanto si el destino está en Español o Inglés. Saludos y me alegra que te haya gustado el vídeo! :)

Muchísimas gracias!! jaja Uno no puede criticar nada sin ir en la cabina, pues por mucho que pienses que en un momento debería hacerse una cosa, seguro hay motivos para no hacerla en ese momento o cualquier otra cosa. No critico absolutamente nada que no veo. :) Respecto a la hora de llegada... bueno, sí, podría añadirlo la verdad. No es mala idea. Me lo apunto. Eso sí, por ahora tengo ya unos cuantos vídeos editados que no lo puedo añadir y entonces hasta Enero no se empezará a ver dicha hora en los vídeos. Saludos!
