TRIP REPORT| ETIHAD AIRWAYS|Boeing B787-9|BARCELONA-ABU DHABI|ECONOMY.

hello travelers! Welcome to one of my trip reports!
This time I will be flying on Etihad Airways B787-9 from Barcelona to Abu Dhabi.
The 787 provides airlines with unmatched fuel efficiency, resulting in exceptional environmental performance, The airplane also has more cargo revenue capacity - a 20 to 45 percent advantage over replacement airplanes.
The 787-9 can carry 280 passengers 8,300 nautical miles (15,372 kilometers). The 787-10, launched in June 2013 and in development now, will fly 323 passengers up to 7,000 nautical miles (13,000 kilometers), or more than 90 percent of the world's twin-aisle routes.
I will show you the boarding process, Etihad Airways B787-9 cabin and features , food service .

Hi does Etihad have own staffat check in and do they make a fuss if you carry your lap op in addition to your cabin bag

@@Shamik-cr3le Yes, Etihad does allow 2 cabin bags, and one laptop bag, but be careful etihad does not accept more than 1 laptop bags, while Emirates offers that. Also if your looking for a good experience, fly Etihad, because their A350-1000s have a more comfy seat then the seat on their emirates a380. For Business and First class Fly Emirates, since they have more choices for food. And they have shower, comfy seat. Also for airports and us immigration Abu Dhabi Airport has a pre immigration, in Abu Dhabi Airport, While Dubai International you have to do immigration or port of entry in the destination. Like John F Kennedy international or Chicago O Hare International. And Last: for aircraft, Don’t book Emirates 777-300ER or Etihad 787-9, because they don’t have a wider cabin, smaller legroom, narrow seats, and the seats are less comfy, While Etihads newer A350-1000 and Emirates A380-800, they have wider seats, wider cabin, quieter cabin, and much more legroom, with access to premium economy only on the emirates a380 Total points: cabin bags: Emirates 1, Etihad 1, Seats: Both Aircraft: Both, Airports: Both, Immigration: Etihad, I would give Both very good points. This Dec would be my first time ever flying with Etihad. My choice would always be Qatar, Emirates, Singapore Airlines or Thai in the past whenever I went to Europe, but the airfares post covid is unbelievably high, and I luckily got a promo fare with Etihad, so me and my friend decided to give it a try for our trip to Spain this Dec. The cabin looks nice, cozy and clean, and I hope the food won't taste bad.

Some years back, I tried out Etihad for a total of four flights, two were average and two were just shockingly bad. One plane to HKG was so old that it still had ashtrays and it rattled so loud at take off,, that people were holding their ears.

There was a time in the past when Etihad lost it's way when they flew with 6 777-300's from Jet Airways in wet lease and their service was absolutely bad. Now it seems that they improved and that they are back in the ranking behind Qatar and Emirates as nr. 3 from the Gulf region.

I don’t know if it’s better than Emirates, I have yet to try EK, but I flew with Eithad 4 times on their A330s and A340-500, it was already a lovely product. It seems like an excellent flight. Thanks for the video!

Hey 👋 Adults and children can take one cabin bag weighing up to 7kg (maximum width 56cm, height 36cm and depth 23cm) and one personal item - such as a handbag, laptop bag or backpack - weighing up to 5kg (maximum width 23cm, height 39cm and depth 19cm). Hope it helps🙂🙂

Good job on the quality but, respectfully, using this experience on EY to compare it with EK is very unfair because 1- Emirates doesn't fly to BCN and 2- Emirates doesn't have 787, but if you are reviewing the in-flight service then sure

Maria del Carmen Gil: 11/16/2022 I ask the etihac Airways company to resolve my case as soon as possible. They denied me boarding with the justification of overbooking on the flight. I have reliable documents that prove it by the company's own personnel. They have kept my money without any kind of impunity, without any explanation. Claim: the remission of my ticket in business class, the expenses incurred, since my residence is 300 km from Madrid... the hotel accommodation. And the psychological damage caused. Until my case has been resolved, I will continue to make it viral on the networks, since for the moment that is all I can do...unfortunately in these cases we are totally defenseless. Thank you!

Me negaron el embarque con la justificación de overbooking en el vuelo.. tengo documentos fehacientes que así lo acreditan por el propio personal de la compañía. se han quedado con mi dinero sin ningún tipo de impunidad, sin explicación alguna. Reclamo: la remisión de mi billete en clase business, los gastos ocasionados, puesto que mi residencia se encuentra a trescientos km de Madrid.. el alojamiento en el hotel. Y los daños psicológicos ocasionados.. Hasta que mi caso no se ha resuelto seguiré haciéndolo viral en las redes, puesto que por el momento es todo cuanto puedo hacer...por desgracia en estos casos estamos totalmente indefensos. Gracias!
