Very nice trip-report. Next Saturday (2022-06-25) I will fly from DUS to BER too. My main reason this time will be the visit of the "ILA 2022", which will be held onsite the BerlinExpo Center, near the small village of Selchow. Directly besides the BER. Hopefully my Eurowings flight at 06:30 a. m. will be not cancalled. After an overnight stay at the IBIS Hotel Schönefeld Airport and a visit of the new BER airport (Observatio-Deck) my return EW flight back home to DUS departs at around 04:30 p. m. The ILA 2022 gives me a perfect first opportunity to visit BER for my very first time.

I love the captain announcement at the start about masks "we have to adhere, you have to adhere, no discussions please". Very cool. Liked your review. I'm visiting Berlin again in March so looking forward to finally getting to try the BER airport. I'll have to add you to my list of reviewers to watch. Thanks for sharing.
