Qatar Airways is very excellent, I traveled with it from Doha to Japan, and the captain was professional in taking off and landing.....Note that the trip lasted about ten hours❤❤

Hi I’m going to travel in 11 weeks to qatar.

I was just on Qatar coming back from Johannesburg JNB. JNB to DOH eight hours and then DOH to MIA Miami. Almost 15 hours and this was a return. The video does a nice job of showing you visually what to expect but it does not discuss what is happening. The only good seats in Economy are the front row of each Economy section and the Exit Rows. You will pay a lot but its worth it. You have a ton of leg room to stretch out and flex your legs, so important to prevent blood clots. And you can get up and even stand and take a break. You cannot do this in any other row of seats. So if you can, bite the Bullitt and get these seats. If you dont, you will be shoehorned in like a sausage and you will surivive but thats about it. The food was so so at best and you will find something edible but its not premium economy and up. Just enough to get you by. If you have limited time to transfer when you are at Doha by all means try to get a seat in the first Economy section as it can take a long time for the last row of passengers to disembark. Also too the security procedures at DOHA are incredible now and you will need a lot of extra time to make sure you get on your transfer flight.

At 195cm tall I survive in standard economy seats and my wife at 172cm has more than enough space. The food generally has been very tasty and all the flights we took - obviously can’t compare to business but definite to on par with premium economy meals on most airlines, especially since a premium economy meal is generally identical in quality to economy, just presented in a nicer way. The only complaint about the food is sometimes it’s too little :) Security at Doha is hit and miss, sometimes it’s a breeze sometimes it’s a nightmare, also l varies with origin - but it’s never made me stress about missing a connection.

Numbers of lavatories should be increased in bigger aircrafts. Six for 280 to 300 passengers seem not enough…

I always travel on Qatar airways as they treat me like royalty. I get 3 or 4 seats to myself as I have Medical issues. No one sits next to me..Alhamduaalah. I sometimes gets seat in business class free upgrade too.

Make yourself as comfortable as possible, that seat will be your home for the next 16 hours. Bring your favourite snacks and drinks. There are a lot of movies in the IFE so that is all good😉 And the most imporant thing, enjoy the full experience! Have a good flight👍

The waiting lines for the bathroom on this flight was not good. Up to 20 minutes waiting time. I don't know if it is the lack of bathrooms on this plane. But there were a lot of elderly people on my flight maybe that's why. Anyway have a good flight😉
