When you arrive at Dubai on Royal Brunei its a very long walk to the security area before go you back to the gate . My wife who has had some strokes in the past so has mobility issues found it very hard getting around . We were lucky a kind gentleman who had a wheel chair insisted my wife get in it !! its a huge airport and as such it isn't passenger friendly !! On the plus side Royal Brunei are a great airline their cabin crew were exemplary kept us all refreshed with water and juices throughout the journey from Australia .

That Chicken Tikka Pizza looked better then my local pizza takeaway, the full breakfast also looked really nice, and lots of it too. Epic capture at 7:55 - the Royal Brunei Boeing 787 looking much faster and sleeker then the Qantas A380 Whale.... Love it 🤣

Aaah...settling down with my favourite blogger again . I have always fancied flying with RB UK (Sept) to MNL (Dec) return but have never seen a cheap flight , indeed it always seems to be be 3 x what you paid 😒 Nice report, Patrick.

No i didn't need one then. But things could have changed and since I am not sure what passport you hold you better check online.

Very nice to see how travel used to be. Hopefully the mask "safety theatre" is ended by all airlines/countries very soon. I think May for RyanAir and then EasyJet will follow suit at around the same time. I admire your stamina to travel for 24 hours. I would have wanted some stopovers and a shower or two!
