TRIP REPORT | Ryanair Boeing 737-800 Regular Fare | Chania to Nuremberg

Hello there. Interesting trip report. Ryanair reminds me of the Low Cost Airline Southwest Airlines that fly's exclusively in the US. They do not serve much in the way of meals, just snacks and drinks, and they encourage you to bring your own food on board. Their rates are reasonable and they have a frequent flyer program called Rapid Rewards in which you earn points for every flight taken that you can use to book subsequent flights. My spouse and I have flown them numerous times from Buffalo, NY, USA as it is more convenient (and lower cost) than flying from our main airport in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The aircraft they use exclusively are Boeing 737s and the seats are relatively comfortable. Keep up the good work!

2:46 Usually all overhead bins do have a Ryanair logo on a yellow background (although more subtle than before), so it looks like they didn't want to spend to much time putting that on them.

@@flightexperience_official If you look at another trip report here on KZbin of the new cabin, you can see that they're still yellow, but it's just the bottom, and it looks more "stylish" If you can call it that (it's still Ryanair) but definitely more subtle than before.

tbh with the door issue at boarding: ryanair writes on their boarding passes which door to use... but people do not read unfortunately.

Really great reports i love the little details. Have to admit i love ryanair, i live in Ireland sobvery cheap flights from dublin to europe. Just love the no nonsence pay for what you need. The seats are not very comfy but with an average flight time to central europe at 2 hours for me then ill take it haha

row 1 might be the better choice for you as the crew is seated also right next to you. Row 16 is an emergency exit row. People who are seated there are required to open the over-wing emergency exit doors in case of an emergency. This might not be the best place for you and the others passengers when you have panic attacks.

I am totally ok with the new seat design. Being 195cm tall - i still fit in, way better than into their old seats. In deed its not more worse than current LH seats. Maybe armrest shorter and traytable smaller. For a short lowcost flights its ok, longer not. Ryanair can be a good deal if you study all rules before and not try to handle them as normal airline.

Thank you! Actually, we do not use credit card hacks for flying. Keep in mind that we are two guys, so there are other people out there who fly more than we do. We can afford flights through our KZbin revenue and by searching for good deals.

I guess you could attribute the lack of fresh options like salads to the very short shelf life these products have. I guess these prepackaged meals expire maybe after two or three months, and salads would definitely not be enjoyable after that time...
