ABQ is such a underrated airport, it has a very historic Pueblo look witch is rare for any airport in the US. Usually in other places the airports are just glass boxes without any historic detail put in them.

My favorite airlines, for me, always on time leaving and arriving, never lost luggage, flight crew always amazing, pilots chat with you prior to going out and doing walk around. BWI is my HUB, 25 million passengers last year, thats more than Dulles and Reagan, combined, over 74 million between the 3 airports. Southwest has its most employees at BWI, whereas Chicago is always home for them, Midway. Never had one bad experience with them and have flown them well over 20 times.

Pretty slick move on the part of the flight crew with that absolute nonsense about good luck in Las Vegas. What most don't know is that the flight crews at SWA are responsible for cleaning the aircraft after each trip. Crossing the straps is part of their cleanup and prep responsibilities, and she probably got more than half the folks deplaning to do her job for her. Smooth move if you can get most folks to go along with it. As always, thanks so much for sharing...

The difference between SWA's -700s and their -800s and MAX 8s is quite major. The -800s and MAXs have a LOT more legroom. If you are in boarding group A and on a -700 I would try to snag the first row, or exit row.

Plus I love the free onboard wifi for entertainment, of course you can purchase additional for messaging and stuff, but when you have smart phones and tablets nowadays like I do, you already have your own movies and what SWA provides for entertainment. Ranked Number 1 US domestic Airlines.

@@UpperAnimated You are correct: Continental saved United's bacon by agreeing to the merger. United's billboard "UNITED" on the fuselage was used because United had the more extensive route network and was thus more well known than was Continental's. So they kept the basic United livery. It was the same for the USAir/Ameican Airlines "merger." Brand recognition went to American Airlines so that was the livery used. (But I must confess I very much liked United's tulip tail.)
