Great views and report! Flown with Jet2 a number of times. They have a great business model. Own their own aircraft, use their own ground handling staff in UK, have generous baggage allowances and the cabin crew just have this warm friendly feel. Jet2 together with Ryanair had no problems in UK with flight cancellations like those seen at say Heathrow. I lost a pair of spectacles in the transfer from the hotel to the airport. Jet2 start investigated, recovered the specs and returned them. Looking forward to flying with them again.

Jet2 are definitely one of the most consistent airlines out there. What you see is what you get... almost all the time, every time. They're proud of what they do and for the market they target they are a well loved airline. 🙌👌 TUI, their closest competitor in the UK at least, seems to have lost their way in offering the leisure style service they grew from. Flew the first time with jet2 last Thursday to Salou and I was not disappointed. The crew are so friendly and were so helpful when I flew from Bristol. I was very impressed with the amount of legroom you have!!! The flight itself was perfect. Going to be flying back with them tomorrow. Will defo be flying with them more!

Another great video. I once flew Jet2 from Leeds and Bradford airport, LBA, to Belfast International. It was an old 737/300 which, looking at the exit signs on board, had seen previous service in Japan!!

How did you find the A330? We are flying on one next year with Jet2, but we’re wondering whether the larger jet is overwhelming inside the cabin due to the number of people, or does it feel like a 767 or equivalent?

I have never flown with Jet2 so far. And I didn't know that they have 106 planes in their fleet. All in all it is a very good trip report. It's great to see Kerkyra Island from the plane. You are right, that the views of Venice are very good, I was there this year and it was very hot in Venice. Also the Alps are perfect, the Jet2 Toilet is just funny.

Your best bet to get on a Jet2 757 one more time is by flying from/to Manchester or Leeds as they’re not operated out of many airports UK airports now. Just a word of a advice👍

In July 2024, I was stuck in a queue at Jet2 checking at corfu airport for over 3 hours due to the world wide computer outage. Unlike other airlines Jet2 held back their plane until everyone was on board. That Friday we eventually arrived back in the UK about 5 hours late. Others on the same trip who travel with other airlines didn't get home till Sunday evening

Never flown with low cost package airlines, but I've always heard good comments on Jet2. This video makes me want to try them for the Greek Islands. I do like the announcement when the passengers are asked to leave row by row. Did this happen in reality, if so I rate Jet 2.

Yes I went to pafos and came in and it was delayed 1 hour and no food on the flight we landed in Edinburgh Airport at 2:35 in the morning

Nice Report, hope you had a pleasent stay at Corfu. What about the overhead lockers? Never saw them equipped with what looks like rubber straps.

Some way off the standards set by scheduled flight airlines such as Singapore Air but definitely the best of the low cost airlines I have flown on, particularly for service. An observation, NOT a criticism; as someone brought up in the South of England, they did come across as somewhat "Northern" to me but maybe that's because of the voices used in the pre-recorded announcements. Looking forward to flying with them again in September.

Jet2 is if you book a flight only, Jet2 holidays is if you book a package. They don't use different aircraft though, so you could end up on either livery as it will have both flight only and package holiday customers onboard. The different liveries are more just an advert to show they do both, but all flights are Jet2 regardless of livery and are exactly the same once onboard.

I was on that Flight LS952 in July but on the A321 and had the extra legroom seat by the door, bad decision, the seat was the most uncomfortable I have ever been on, and my food box was bigger than the tray they have to fix to the seat, no cup holder it was ridiculous. It was both the start and finish of a bad holiday, not impressed with Corfu at all!!!

@@OnBoardHD hey don't mention it 😁 If you want to fly the 757 the best route would be LS909. Its always 757 operated The A330 is LS918, always A330 but its a Air tanker A330 leased to Jet2

I think your B roll footage of terminals and boarding etc. could be improved by removing the cheerful background music. I like airports for the ambiance, and while your footage is good, natural sounds would be much better than a twinkling song drowning out the authentic sounds of air travel. Don’t worry: not adding music will not make your videos boring; it would make them authentic.

Just returned back form a holiday in Crete and flew Jet 2 for the first time in a few years, agree they are good but the 737 we went on was a bit old and dirty and apart from a handful of newish 737's there fleet is a bit tired, saying that once the new A321's come on line they will better than there main rival TUI, who again I have recently flown on and both 737' had the sky interior and was on par with Jet 2. Word of warning Heraklion airport was a terrible experience, over crowded hot and passengers are crammed into a terminal which is no where near capable of holding the amount of passengers were in there, it was like being in a cattle market truly the worst airport I have ever been to.

That looked like a perfectly serviceable budget flight. I can't say that I would have chosen the catering option, but anyway... The thing that annoys me on these Jet2 flights is the prerecorded sterotypical "chirpy regional radio announcer" announcements.
