Exactly... I work for TCUK customer relations and we get a lot of complaints regarding the boarding or the service in the airport... most people can't understand that the airline is only providing the flight... not the baggage handling or other ground services...

I recently flew on an A321 with Thomas cook back in July and the seats weren't blue, they were all grey with the flap thing on the top which had the Thomas cook logo on it

In regard to your question about lounges: I do like seeing lounge tours, but the option to skip them would be fantastic as well. I think there's a feature where you can mark a section of the video where the lounge tour ends. :) Thanks for your videos, they're great!

Good report as always. Thomas Cook have a very solid onboard product. However, the one place they could definitely improve on is their website/mobile site! It's a shame about the boarding procedure, although i'd more so blame the ground handling agents for this. I know Thomas Cook prefer the use of 2 sets of steps where possible on a remote stand and so i'd say the agents had non available/didn't bring them across.

Funny story about Innsbruck airport, we flew from Manchester airport and made friends with a couple travelling to Canada 🇨🇦 we laughed and said that we would be there hours before them even though our flight departed before theirs , well well well the captains seat broke and the first officer could not land the plane . We had to turn back . It took us nearly 10 hours and they were there , already relaxed in there hotel

Remote boarding a full A321 via one door is just stupid, it is something Thomas Cook can control because they can tell their handling agents to do it, especially when it is meaning their passengers have to spend 10 minutes getting wet and probably take a delay to their departure because of it. Whether Thomas Cook actually want to do anything about it is another issue...

Yet they've also won awards and are currently the "worlds leading charter airline" according to the World Travel Award. I think they have a pretty decent product, especially for their main market. IFE, a choice of chef named inflight meals and smart and modern (albeit on the tight-side) interiors. How they've been rated that seems to be from biased samples.
