Fly Around it is good but they don't have any business class or a huge movie selection. They have Overnight flights aswell so you don't get any sleep and feel like death.

BA pretty much have the monopoly on the route since SA stopped flying the route non-stop, only BA fly it non-stop from London now. So Thomas cook are trying to cut into it a little, which is great to be honest.

Very nice trip report! Do other airlines also use the No1 lounge? Is it just me or is there more leg room on TC than on BA. Breakfast and dinner seemed decent (pretty much two hot meals). Hope you enjoyed your trip!

Yes a few other airlines do use the NO 1 Lounge, its normally busy and priority pass holders have to wait to get in, but at this time of night, most of the flights have gone. For the price this was a good flight.

The A330 with Thomas cook is great if travelling in a two. The window and aisle seats are almost perfect and a lot better than some other airlines.

In flying to cyprus from norway on this airline, just saying, this is a super nice airline. Just dont take the night version of the plane (goes 6-7pm) Instead, take the morning flight, bigger seats, a touch screen meanwhile on the night flight you get small seats, bad legroom and there a 3x2x3 seats. Which means not alot of room. I have flewled with both and i reccomend the morning flight. Hope this helped you!

Sure, it depends i used my priority pass card to get in, but if you don't have one or don't want to sign up to one. The best way is to just purchase the lounge you want to stay go into in advance. I think its about 25 pounds per person for this lounge, well worth it in my view.

From what I remember it was a very smooth transatlantic crossing. Service was perfectly fine from the crew.

How did you overall find the service and quality of food?. Also was everything on flight such as upgrade of TV service worth the money?. Cheers.

The overall service is going to be a lot less than what Virgin Atlantic offer and the food was not as good as Virgin Atlantic, but it all depends on the price that you pay and what differences you have. If Virgin is pricing at say 650 to Florida and Thomas cook are 350, the choice hands down for me would be Thomas cook. I would then have a great meal at the airport before departure and just eat whatever free food was given to me on the flight. The 5 pound charge to upgrade the TV choices are most worth it, if you like watching a lot of movies and shows.

Dear when I Travel The World, I'm flying condor direct flight from Kuala lumpur to frankfurt, but it is operated by Thomas Cook A330, I've seen some trip reports and the conclusion is I see condor provide lots of free drinks service through the flight, and they always serve 2 full meals on the long haul flight. Since you posted this video, I see Thomas Cook dinner for this flight is kinda awful, just a sandwich, some snacks and drinks, and I have something to ask, do Thomas Cook provide free drink service through all the flight in economy?

The free selection is limited to about 8 items, but the small fee to unlock it all gives you enough entertainment for a 11 hour flight.

I think Tomas cook economy is very good I took a 7 hour fight with them Orlando to London I thought the dinner and breakfast was serviceable and for just 5 dollars you get great entertainment I would fly again

Interesting model, very basic entertainment - but you can upgrade, very basic food offering - but you can buy extra.How did that work out for you?

Its definitely an interesting long haul concept, they offer a tiny bit more than Norwegian, but less than say BA or VS. Its nice that you can pay to upgrade the entertainment if you need more and also buy more food. I wanted to only film and include what was in the ticket price, so I did not purchase or pay for any extra food. I was a little bit hungry when breakfast was served, but sill not a problem.

I flown Mexico and Egypt twice Cuba once with Thomas cook once over entertainment was included all changed in flying to Cuba in Nov and Turkey Dec thus year Thomas cook coat 48 for the seats meals luggage upgrade for the Turkey flight thinks it the a321 plane there 3 by 3 seats used bookit code saves me 2 quid really as took me over 700 putting the package on for Turkey

I'm curious, what is that bad about it ? The seating config is 2 - 4 - 2, so better than most airlines 3 - 3 - 3 or 3 - 4 - 3. The free food was just fine, and you could purchase more if you wanted. The legroom was good. I'm just wondering what more you would need.

I agree on the IFE, that is a bit cheap, if they included that for free and offer say a breakfast bar or something mid flight that would please a lot of passengers. VS does indeed give you more to eat in economy. Personally I feel passengers in Economy could be given less food , but just more often and they would enjoy it more and feel like they were receiving more.
