Wow, why is the water so gross? You would think that for something as “holy” and sacred as the Mikveh that it would be clean.

This one's outdoors. And it's not really about the water itself it's symbolic. It's about the connection between people and God. She will atill wash her dishes before actually using them

Can they not use anything to get the lost utensils back out? If for no other reason that soneone will think a get rich quick thing. Lots of tableware is valuable, & they may get into it just to find out. They could use a grabber extrndion, or maybe a large magnet to grt it. I don't know where you are, but I can't imagine it not being a risk in the states.

So they dump them in that water but then they also clean them too. I just don't understand how that makes something spiritual clean when the water is physically dirty.
